A low profile is the best way to go with CFLs bro! No doubt about it!
I say you veg them as long as you can, and train them as much as possible to keep the smaller, longer.
I think 12/12 from seed could do really well with good lighting light 600/1000w HID.
But I think spending months to grow just a little over an ounce of smoke isn't really the best use of time or space lol.
In a SOG, sure. Just a few plants...not worth MY time..
I am glad I just threw them in there tho! Gonna be a nice supplemental harvest!
And hopefully you got something nice incoming bro! I been in the air the past month lol.

You can take a 8-10" cut 7-10days to root then another month mine are 2ft,or real close.
All we caught was a good buzz...nothing like smoking as the Sun rises then getting the boat up
on plane and raise the jackplate to reach 70plus on the water.Just way to many ppl at the lake this time of yr,For sure on Lake Fork.
Ppl come from all over the world to fish this lake,holds the State record for Bass.

Just dropped the 400w Hortilux on em, so the next two weeks hopefully they thicken up more.
I'll be satisfied with 6 - 6 1/2 zips....

I don't understand what your noscale post is about 
if I got 6z per plant I'd be super happy but not expecting that it is in the realm of possibility for some of them to hit that though.... don't think it's realistic though i'd be fine with half that 3 per plant would still be over 3lbs total i need a few 6s to hit 1g/w though (i did the math last night... would have to get 4z/plant avg to be at 1g/w).... if i hit 4z/plant that'd be over 4lb harvest total which would be 100% badass. i've only ever had one plant over 4z though Yours look pretty badass considering how small they are and they're not on super powerful lights.

Should they ever kick in the door, being in Co or Ca, the scale is what gonna get you popped....Just say that tonight on Pot Cops...

And I'd really look into the topping after the 2nd true node method bro! The foundation to build on is literally the same result as mainlining without the effort.
I'm just raving about it becuase of how's it's coming about for me now boss, and know you could do some work with that as well as ML.
Last thing I have to ask, have you ever thought about vegging 20/4 given the fact that you're using LEDs??

I had a plant in december I was pretty hopeful could top 6z... it had around 36 tops, almost 3'x3' wide canopy same style as i'm doing'em now... unfortunately had to cut it about week 2 into 12/12... none of these plants this time got that much veg to be that big, but i'm hoping next round will have at least one or two that big.
I'm not doing mainlining these are all LSTed no topping at all... i'm gonna do a mainline comparison eventually though. i'll get around to playing with different techniques eventually including ML
I usually veg 18/6 - I'm all about root growth and roots grow a lot at night. Also the more dark you give them in veg, the faster they show preflowers... and i'm all about early sexing too i'm thinking about going down to 16/8 last week before flower. I only go 24/0 the first few days of seedlings and for cuts til they go into soil.
