I was there. It was epic. I was around the outskirts of the crowd taking pictures, and there were 4 shots. Then suddenly the ENTIRE CROWD was mobile, everyone started running at once. At first I was thinking "That was NOT gun shots" then I was just like FUCK I NEED TO GET THE FUCK OUT. I have a video of like 10 minutes before the shooting, and pictures of the crowd before running, and flooding the streets after evacuating the capitol.

Sadly, (my point) you seem to be the only media outlet pushing it, the "terror" in Denver happens everyday.
The permit wasn't "pulled", the way I read it yesterday was both, Officials and Promoters agreed to shut the event down.
This is still "America". They can apply for another permit for next year.

I actually realized that this morning, it's as if no one cares what happened to "us stoners". We really need to have more marches and shit, they don't think we are real people... But you read the article wrong, yes they agreed on letting the permit go, but it was PULLED. They had a 4 year permit, this was year 2. And they can apply all they want, the city isn't going to let that happen again. There are enough indoor events where people are paying to get in, so are less likely to bring guns and ruin it for themselves. They'll let those continue, but the rally is dead I believe.

I don't think it's the medias fault, I think it's just because people think we aren't people. Or they think "What the hell did they expect, fuckin kids". And the announcers at the rally were lying about who was on stage, they announced Swisher House and Pimp C when some people came up, even though Pimp C is dead and Swisher House was not there. Then I'm not sure if lil Flip was there, but that's who they said was on stage when the gun was fired. But I bet this story is really confusing, and people (including me) might think the police had something to do with it.
