i feel ya buddy.. temptation's always there to cut early for the next generation... but you could really miss some significant yield if you go too early. i don't think there was that much yield gained between week 9 and 10 but there was definitely some put on between 8 and 9.

What's up with the long flowering time with subs apollo bx? Apollo 13 is a 7-8 wk strain and Apollo 11 is a 7 week strain, my grape apollo is completely done at 7 wks too

could be from being under LED... sometimes strains take longer under it... i also do flower tie downs that adds time on. Pretty sure sub's description of the strain says it's an 8-9 week strain, not 7-8. A11 is definitely a 7-8 week strain. They were done in 9 I just chose to take one to 10 to try and squeeze every bit of yield and power out I could

Yeah but that's not subs strain. What did he do, back cross it? The flowering times for both the 11 and the 13 are just what I said, I'm not going to go post a link for you reef just to prove it.

Yeah it's back crossed to a space queen male. I'm not gonna defend sub, I'm not his mommy or his friend. But I like his show and his seeds/strains... I have good results with them. when I find something better or get disappointed with'em, that'll change. I don't know who don is you're referring to And point me to the seed maker offering real deal apollo 13. I'm not aware of any... know one or two offering A11, but not 13. So there's not exactly any choice at all as far as I know if you want that strain.

Was it a brothers grim strain?
I'm pretty sure tga website says 55-60 days. I'm on my phone with a broken screen so I don't care to look for it. Need a new phone on top of everything else, dropped it getting out of my vehicle the other day. Doh.
I'm hoping for a good bit of yield out of this run. If not I may have to build my next cab around an air cooled hood. Then I could compare my 240w (actual wattage is more like 200) to my dimmable hps set to 200.
If both cabs are build the exact same minis air cooled hood attachment, use the same plant in both, and feed and water both the same I should get a good idea. That would just leaner me figuring out how to run theair cooled hood ducts without a light leak in a small cab. Have to do it in winter to help keep temps down. During the summer the ac already is under a large load with 110 degrees and high humidity.
Which means I need a way to cover up the air cooled hood ventilation holes for use in summer with leds.
I have been wondering if I just don't have enough ways or if they're too close. Manufacturer shows running them higher and claiming larger but effective coverage. I don't know, need a lot more money so I can experiment more.

Well just see when I have time to do it. All my plans have been getting thrown out the window and been given someone else's plans. Rather annoying. Got a bunch of Apollo cuts in a cup waiting to go in the cloner for several days. Need to repot the sparkle, pot the timewreck. Also finish out the gardens. Most of day consisted of changing out a toilet and digging up the yard to try growing grass. And I'm not fond of grass

Yeah I hear ya I've been spending way more time the last couple of weeks working on our yard... for example didn't realize when we rented this place that by this time the yard would be COVERED in dead leaves that have to be raked and it's st augustine so as you're raking it's constantly catching on the grass and pulling feeder roots up ugh. Have to make sure the grass doesn't die and try to make sure it's in decent shape when I move outta this place so I don't piss the landlord off I was happy for the few days my yard looked better than my neighbors (usually mine looks worse) of course as soon as I do mine they always come along and do theirs and then theirs looks better again... curses!!!
One thing I like about this neighborhood is I'll NEVER have the worst yard there are some real slouches in this hood as far as taking care of their hood (as in NEVER mow their yard).

I might make it a little bigger to fit a cooltube with my 400w hps. That's why I was asking about how much airflow I need for that. I was trying to keep inconspicuous still so ducting going out to a muffler box won't work so well for that. Though the holes on the sides for a light baffle on the cooltube will look a little odd.
I've only had my early cut down of apollo bx which is a quick but strange high that is very short lived. 15 minutes max I'd say. Yeah hopefully monday I can take them down and trim off the fan leaves and what not.
