I took a good number of Apollo cuts that can go in the cloner. Anyone need some? I'm going to end up with too many.

Looks like both of mine will prob make it... got a green leaf on one already so definitely think that one will. I actually have too many myself and need to get rid of some of mine :)

food grade? I guess maybe i shouldn't have been making bubble in my Lowes buckets? :)
Friggen Lowes huh lol....I make my bubble in their buckets too. I hate that place, I need to stop shopping there,,, even one of my 5 gal buckets split at the seam on the bottom. I've dealt with thousands of those buckets in my career, never seen that happen before :)

Bummer about the Sparkle beans voidman, do you have any more. That's one of,,,,,bbyys' strains right? And it's what again?

edit.....C99 x Haze, guess I should have read the whole page lol

i always make sure as soon as mine come out of water and go into soil now they have light overhead... i had one time that i left the beans in the dark in soil for a day or two and i think all or almost all of those failed. Not sure if the dark had anything to do with it or it was just some other factor like too much humidity, not enough, whatever either... but i've had much better results since then making sure they have light over them.
Good point bongwell. Those beans are alive, they can tell there is a light (or at least warmth) above them. Gives them something to shoot for.

I saw the coolest documentary a few days ago about how plants communicate with each other and also with insects. If they are being attacked by one particular insect for example, they can emit a scent that will attract a different species insect that will eat the one that is attacking the plant.

Yeah that's bbyy. These were f2 from the more fruity phenos owl had.

I prefer home depot. Had a family member tell me not to shop there bc they support equal rights for the lbgt people.

Never knew that void although i used to have a (obvious) lesbian friend who worked there for a while. I just go to whichever is most convenient at the time and has what i want... really i go to lowes more because it's next to the fiesta so it's usually a 2 for 1 i usually fill up my 5 gallon water tanks there for $1.75 each...

Yeah I don't get why it's causing such an uproar. Christians say the bible says not to be that way, but it also said a lot of other things that they don't protest against near so much. Never hear them say we shouldn't allow Muslim or atheists or mixed race (not anymore anyway) marriages. But according to the bible no one should be any other religion either but they don't try pushing laws to make other religions illegal. Bah. To me it's just right is right and fair is fair. I'm a big libertarian believer, do whatever you want as long as your not hurting someone else

Same here :) I think it's all about control... not all christians are that way, but I think those same people if they weren't christians would still be upset about something someone else was doing, yaknow? The irony is the need to control is generally a reaction to feeling your world is not in control... and christians are supposed to place their faith in a higher power. A lot of people just have a limited viewpoint too. There are plenty of people on this site who want to control others' behavior too, just not in reference to weed... it's really confusing to me when i meet non-libertarian stoners... they don't think people should have the right to tell them what they can smoke, but they want to tell other people how to live their lives and want the government to use their power to enforce it. They can never see that they're just as bad as the people on the 'other side' that they despise. Me? I just hate stupid people :) Lots of those on every side of the political equation... i've not met too many stupid libertarians, although i'm sure there are probably some out there. I think probably because most libertarians either start on the left or right and make a willful decision not to control the lives of others... stupid people can't make that leap for the most part :) it never occurs to them that to have the freedoms they want they might have to put up with some things they look down on but have nothing to do with them

Yeah but why do Christians decide this is the biggest thing to rail against?

Pulled out my bucket I had expanded coco in. Still had a good bit in it. But when I turned over a layer it smelled like rotten eggs. Yuck.

My flower bed was bone dry and two plants fell part way over. Oops. Hope it didn't break roots, at least there is only a week left. I figure water only from this point forward as a flush. What do you think?

Agree on water only the last week... that's pretty standard. It'll probably be fine you'll know within a day or two if the roots caused an issue... do be on the lookout for nanners that kind of stress can definitely cause them.

i dunno conservative christians are against a LOOOT of shit... :) i think they've got a right to be against anything they want and to rail against it all the want... but just because i'm against something doesn't mean i need to try to have the government put people in jail to stop it.

I had poured a gallon puff water in the bed yesterday and today when I checked was still bone dry. Had to use bamboo skewers to hold some branches up. Hope that means they're a good weight. I'm so eager to harvest.

Oh, reef, when I said a v shaped screen I wasn't meaning vertical. I think I have enough height for it.

I'm thinking of building a new cab and think this tote will fit the dimensions I'm looking at. It's deeper which will help the roots but take up the extra vertical space I was putting in for the plants.

So question is, would the extra space be better used for roots or for growth up top? My current bed is pretty shallow and the plants cab fall over easily if not staked up well.

You might wanna wait one more week if you can for yield/maturity. She won't be ready in a week, although you could certainly take her that early. She looks like she needs 10 weeks to me, but might finish in 9. She doesn't have a big couchlock effect (well maybe a bit the first few times you smoke her til you're used to her a bit) if you take her long. I'd take her longer if you can afford to

Yup definite light weight here. I suppose I coil do one plant end of 8, one end off 9 and one end of ten and last at 11. Cute it all separately. Then you and owl come out ad's have a sampling and compare notes

Sounds good to me... apollo party :) both of my apollo cuts look great now... regreened with healthy leaves... still tiny as all get out, but i'm sure once they get their next node out they're gonna take off they just need a little more healthy leaf to grow on :) Pretty sweet so I should have apollo again end of july along with ace and second generation timewrecks.... gonna be sweeeeeeeeeeeeet. curious to see how she is finished up as a mature cutting she was <2 months when she flowered before.
