It really all depends on how the dog was brought up. If you go in my back yard or inside my house my dogs will attack. But if you stand on the front porch or the front yard, they will watch you closely.

My brothers dogs watch you eat every meal, if they catch you off guard once, they'll take your plate LOL.

And my neighbor dog has a Pittbull. She's very sweet, shes afraid of Butterfly's!
Don't get me wrong, we once shared our home with a german shepherd/wolf cross and it was the ultimate in "dogs", but alas when we moved in to our new house, he got tired of hearing the neighbours poodle whine, so one day he broke the chain and proceeded to bite the head off the damn thing and present to us, his pack, he was very proud of himself but we had to give him up because we knew then we couldn't control his behaviour enough to ensure the safety of others.

It probably sensed that you disliked the noise and proceeded to take care of it for you(That's my kind of Dog)

My girlfriend and I play fight alot, and when I call for help my Austrailian Shepherd Doberman Mix will run up and yell her fuckin head off, whereas my Rottweiler(The Man) will jump on her(Being as nice as possible) getting her away from me.
They won't attack people they know unless I tell them too

No day is ever a good day to lose a pet. Even if they are old and suffering.

Please take comfort in knowing that you did your absolute best in taking care of him and there was nothing more you could do.

i'm so fucking sad, not even weed helps.
buddy was sitting out back on her grave for quite awhile this afternoon. she used to smacked him around but really i think she loved him. she would sit and stare at him. maybe she wasn't staring but glaring at him. fassa the crazy kitten is missing her too, he keeps looking around the corners and out on the decks.
even the mrs broke down again today. i'm the crier, she's was raised in a household where if she cried she would be given a reason to cry. :eyesmoke:

Sorry to hear of your loss Sunny. We had to put my parent's dog down last Friday so I kind of know what you're dealing with. If it's any consolation, knowing what I know of you, she probably had a wonderful life and is glad to have had you.

People who have none don't understand but after awhile pets aren't pets, they turn into a part of the family. I'm sure your cat knew how much it meant to you. I often had my doubts to animals knowing what's going on but they do. When I went to jail my cat slept on my pillow every night. When I go away for a few days as soon as I get home she always lays on my lap. Fuck what cat haters think they are loyal. I'm sure you have many good examples as well. Think about the good times brother, I bet your cat wouldn't want you sad.

Ohhhh sweetie I know exactly what you're going through. Wish I could hug you in person, I know nothing I can say is going to make it feel better. Thinking of you.

Unless you've experienced losing a pet, then you just can't understand how difficult it can be. I've been through it several times, and it's awful. So sorry to hear about your kitty friend, sunny.

Seems she is also addicted to YOU & always will be. Addicted to the love of those that always cared enough to to provide a lifetime of it + much more. Always will be cause that love can never die. The body may no longer exist but your friend will always be a part of you. Seems she still IS & always will be a very special energy that always craves & accepts genuine love & friendship.

Positive energy forever to you & your beautiful friend.

So much love on this thread and well deserved. I lost my favorite cat when i was younger after he layed up against the screen and fell out the window when no one was home. It was like a 4 foot drop but he ran away...needless to say i was devistated and still miss him to this day and that was like 9 years ago! Just try to focus on the expierences you had with her and realize now that shes gone you can truly appreciate her and honor her for what she meant to you
