Don't get me wrong, we once shared our home with a german shepherd/wolf cross and it was the ultimate in "dogs", but alas when we moved in to our new house, he got tired of hearing the neighbours poodle whine, so one day he broke the chain and proceeded to bite the head off the damn thing and present to us, his pack, he was very proud of himself but we had to give him up because we knew then we couldn't control his behaviour enough to ensure the safety of others. It really all depends on how the dog was brought up. If you go in my back yard or inside my house my dogs will attack. But if you stand on the front porch or the front yard, they will watch you closely.
My brothers dogs watch you eat every meal, if they catch you off guard once, they'll take your plate LOL.
And my neighbor dog has a Pittbull. She's very sweet, shes afraid of Butterfly's!
