The first time i tried topping i was nervous. I thought since it wasnt something that just happens in nature, its wierd or wrong. but i top. its worth it buddy. next time do a side by side. One topped and one not. you will see a huge differenci in# of bud sites.

and you cant really bomb topping. its eazy as shit. you have nothing to worry about

that's exactly why i did it in the end. i was like "that's it!?" even with weighing up everything like light and space and whatnot. so yeah. gonna keep a close eye on it!

Get some root hormone or look up how to make a clone bubble propogation dealeo. making em costs a 8th what buying one will. bubble cloners are awesome when used with liquid rooting hormone

And by the way, i saw a thread on hear about some guy hollowing out a 52 inch projection tv and growing in it. it might be a way for you to be able to grow a few more plants. look around and see if you can maybe remove a broken one from someones house. tell em your going to garbage it for em. charge em 20 € and everyone is happy.

but its a clever stealth method for fure

View attachment 2626749Hi Cloudy, Kushy, funny I drop in here and see you two gabbing about maybe topping, I topped one of mines just the other day, seems to have settled down and is bushing out as expected. Its the first time Ive tried topping. Seems like a good way to go cloudy if you got limited height, and they say more flowering tops increases yield, post some pics if you go ahead with it

Ive even topped when i switched over the light cycle.or let it grow a bit biger than, topped it. i had the perfect height plant, and it got bushy as hell.

ive used this method several times. if im trying to maximize my height than bushyness, i do it like this

Wyrm castings!!! just kidding. no dragon poop. you need worm castings. top dress your souil, or make a tea.

you cant really give "to much" wormcastings in a tea form. the soil will only absorb so much. and as its not any of this chemical shit, it wont harm anything.

and cloudy, do you know what " Cú Faoil" is? i know you dont speak irish, but i gotta ask. its a thing, to give you a hint. a living thing...

And im leaving town for a couple days. i dont ake my phone. if you run into issues, there are several members on my list you can ask for help.

slipon. he is a master of small grows, and he helps new growers on the newbie threads regularly. tell him im your friend. he will help you regardless, hes cool, but let him know i recommend him. his advice is solid.

bear country and kite high. They are both old time growers, and know thier shit.

Everyone on my list is there cause i either agree with their opinions/advice/general attitude. all of em would be good for advice, but i would reccomend those three first. if those 3 cant help you, yer shit outta luck. and especially slip. hes more up to date on small grows than i am. its not that i dont know how to grow 10 plants, ive just fot used to the challenges of bigger things. small grows present different challenges. heat, space, air. they are all different in smaller joints. climate in a small box is a pain in the ass sometimes.

but you are using cfls, so you dont have to worry as much as a hid user. no worrys my friend. heat will be a problem some day.

Roots are already poking out the bottom of my top dawg's new "pots".. not sure i good thing or bad.. Gonna let them thirst a bit. hopefully the roots will spread out some more!
Also after a general feed yesterday morning. my plants are looking unbelievably healthier. and they've grown at least an inch in 24 hours. which is what i like to see. gotta bump my light up a bit to compensate!

ph everything. soil included. but my soil brand is nutral ph. just ajust accordingly.

peat pellets are acidic. they suck for starting seeds. but peated soil is different.

you have to be careful with everything. always ph everything. nutral water is perfect for this. pour it thru your soil and ph the runoff.

good lookin out bilbo, i shoulda explained that better. PEAT PELLETS ARE SHIT. WASTE OF MONEY STAY AWAY
And I`ve had nothing but good results with Peat pellets, now will use them over rockwool or any other starting medium. If you can keep them moist, they offer the best germinating of seeds IMO, never takes me more than 3-4 days to get sprouts. Have you just had issues with these?

Happy plants make happy farmers too right :p. Hiccups are necessary, how you learn honestly. I`ve been growing for almost 10 years now and still learn something in the garden everyday (as you branch out with projects with time). You`re doing great man, can`t wait to see these come along for ya. Happy growing, keep it green,
