so I had some seeds started in jiffy pellets.
long story, short, I ended up with seedlings rooted in coco in 3" net pots in a bubble cloner.
seems to be doing really, really good.
then I had some small cuttings that weren't long enough to reach into the water so I figured I'd try putting them in coco in the 3" net pots and see if they'd live. today, is day ten and the three 3" cuttings are still alive in coco in net pots in a bubble cloner.
So, has anyone tried this going into bloom in diy under current system?
Why use rockwool and hydroton instead of coco?
Coco will block all light that might get through hydroton.
Sure, I had a little bit of debris in the bubble cloner but that won't be a problem in bloom when the water is a full inch below the bottom of the pots. Plus, the roots bind it up pretty good.
