bloom with coco in net pots

so I had some seeds started in jiffy pellets.
long story, short, I ended up with seedlings rooted in coco in 3" net pots in a bubble cloner.
seems to be doing really, really good.
then I had some small cuttings that weren't long enough to reach into the water so I figured I'd try putting them in coco in the 3" net pots and see if they'd live. today, is day ten and the three 3" cuttings are still alive in coco in net pots in a bubble cloner.

So, has anyone tried this going into bloom in diy under current system?

Why use rockwool and hydroton instead of coco?

Coco will block all light that might get through hydroton.
Sure, I had a little bit of debris in the bubble cloner but that won't be a problem in bloom when the water is a full inch below the bottom of the pots. Plus, the roots bind it up pretty good.

So my seedlings are doing good with the biggest at about 12" of roots. My clones are going on day 13 with one out of 20 that has a 1.5" root. many have big root bumps.
very little coco has escaped the net pots into the bubble cloners.

anybody ever do bubble buckets, dwc with coco?

Turns out the clones had spider mites, which I think are almost eliminated.
4 seedlings and 4 clones went to 12/12, with 8 more spots to fill in a 140 gal, 16 site diy undercurrent dwc under 2kw.
the seedlings have huge roots already and i expect that 2 will fill and 18gal tub.

going good.
day 5 of bloom. using canna nutes. started with 1/8 strength for ec of 0.4 and brought it up to 1/4 yesterday for ec .7. ph around 6
I need to buy a chiller. water temp 80deg but the roots on the 4 seedlings are big, white and clean.
room at 84 deg, 60%rh with co2 blasts.

I'm curious how you built the 140 gal uc system. I tried building one and had lots of leaks. I used 1" tubing, withe rubber grommets and fittings, along with a 1000gph inline pump. Now, I have 15 6" net pot bucket lids and 5 gallon buckets. Any suggestions?
