I know a lot of people who CAN obtain their card but don't out of principle. Some people like the old school guerilla days and don't think it is prudent to bow down to the state for permission to use a plant. I tend to agree with that philosophy.

Bingo, at 79 I could get one no problem. But I'm not asking some fake doctor to give me his blessing for 300$, so I can havethe privilege of some bogus law that politicians use to try to not feel guilty.
They can go pound sand. Our privacy laws here protect the individual in your home, plus you can have more than six plants.

I find it frankly insulting when med useres act like they are better than non legal users. i think its stupid that anyone would descriminate.
everyone should have access to ganja. no matter what the reason. recreational, medical, who cares.
i smoke cannabis for a variety of reasons. it helps me sleep. helps me chill after a painful day. keeps me a nice person (most of the time)...

I think it's great, that at 79, you are still growing and smoking weed. I find it interesting because you are 40 years older than I yet we still have something in common. The true healing power of Cannabis is its ability to bring people together peacefully. This is the CURE for every ill for everyone. This, therefore, supercedes any bureacratic agency's jurisdiction. No need to ask for permission OR pay a tax.
This is my idealistic view on the issue. I do, however, understand it IS idealistic and NOT reality. Haahaaa..In reality, there are certain rules you have to follow in order to survive and have a CHANCE to fulfill your dreams. It's all about chance (odds). Permission must be requested in order to coexist with our Handlers. We as a people have been bought and sold.
It's sad but true.

I think the whole fucking "dispensary scene" is retarded. I like the people you meet at a dispensery but the feeling that you are in a place that is making a TON of money off people makes me feel violated. I like knowing the people who grow the smoke directly. Some dispensaries feel like you're at a welfare facility trying to get some foodstamps because you lost your job. "NEXT, who's NEXT", yells the "Bud tender". "Duuuudddee,,,please tell me you guys have some of dat "Dank Ass Chronic Jizz Nuts", in stock?!!, says "The PATIENT".
No thank you. Let's all just grow our own. Give some to those who cant grow. After that, we'll all meet up at the park, get high, and play frisbee. Sound better than dealing with all of these "medical" shanningans?
Seriously, take the monetary value from it and the bullshit goes away. Cannabis is only scheduled the way it is because of money. It's a freaking plant!
