I will fully admit to being (past tense) one of those shit heads...

I honestly use it for pain and still feel some folks need to stop smoking and get their shit together.. but.. this plant makes us all feel and act differently and I dont like being judge by the current stigma MMJ has.. so why pass it on to the others who use it..
 
My "card" story.

I personally have been smoking for 25+ yrs, and it's been only since 1990 that I've been using it for a more medicinal reason. My story begins at a house party, having said my hello's to everyone and grabbing a beer I give the usual suspects the "nod" and proceed outside. Well... in comes a noobie, a card carrying noob and he has his bag of killer weed, some cool sounding shit he picked up from the dispensary. So after 10 mins or so of his going on about this killer weed, he gets around to sparking it up, a joint so small I thought it was a tooth pick at first. It looked and smelled great even had a nice fruity taste, but when after 5 mins I hadn't caught anything I asked if he wouldn't mind trying some of my weed. Nothing special just the Northernlights X I've been smoking for years, we enjoy a nice fatty of mine and shoot the shit for the next couple of mins....it's then I notice him starting to turn green and getting real sweaty. Sitting him down, I say "Sometimes it isn't the name that gets you high...it's the weed".

Having a slip of paper, does not equate superiority.
 
truth be told.. MJ card or not.. I will continue to use it.. (I prefer to be legal just to keep local pd under st law) Feds know were all screwed at this point so it's a crap shot on what asshat may arrive..
 
I usually laugh at people that roll pinner joints, my wifes uncle ALWAYS does, even if there are 5+ people smoking. I completely agree about people thinking the fancy name is gonna get you high. Generally I put ZERO weight on a name someone tells me unless I know he grew it.

Hahaha ya i hate pinners lol

You should see my one buddy who takes snaps, lol. His snaps are so small that When you take a hit you gotta make sure you don't breathe or else It might Blow outta the bowl, lol. First time he loaded the bong for me, i had to bust out laughing and ask if he was serious...needless to say, dude was serious lol

sorry to tell you, but not everyone believes they should smoke people out just cause they got weed.

Lol thats great! He would love one of the new bowls I saw at the Cup, it had 24 little bowls so each hit was a clean green hit. Well I tried it out, and each hit is also pretty small. I would need to smoke prolly half the thing to really get high.

Any day any time, if I've got bud I'll smoke it with a friend. I'm not saying I'll always smoke out a stranger, but 95% of the time I'd be glad to burn them down too. Usually they are like wow this is some killer weed, and I gotta just nod, smile, and say I've got a good hook up. Being willing to smoke out others is just another sign or brotherly love man, we are supposed to share this herb, not be selfish with it, or change people a bunch of money for clones like some people try to do. We should share genetics, not try to horde them and think we are special. Cannabis can bring the whole world together if we let it!
 
I think people seem to misunderstand that if you want your card you can't just walk in to any docs office and just pick one up.thers a process and you need to have qualifing condition
I hate when i hear you live in a state that allows medical marijuana why dont you have your card?

It just adds to the confusion when people state unfounded crap here.
 
I look at having a MMJ card as having "pot insurance".....a 'get out of jail free card' if you will. They make it very easy for you if you just make an attempt at being legal. It's like wearing a seatbelt, I hope I never need it, but I always use it........at least it gives your lawyer something to start with....costs me $75 to re-new each year....way cheaper than car insurance......it just makes good sense to have a MMJ card if your in a legal state.....:hump:

Indeed.

Lot of places I've seen that have alternative newspapers usually have whole pages of ads in them, "GET YOUR MMJ CARD, ONLY $100!!!".

Kind of devalues the whole system when 90%+ of the people on it are faking it.
 
cards are false a sense of security, THC is illegal in USA

yup your card is just a way to create revenue off of idiots

the USA federal government says marijuana has zero medical benefits
