I don't think Serious beans are more than $110 anywhere, are they? Definitely less than $200. Even DJ's top out at around $130.
Sensi, Soma, and Mr. Nice all have beans around $200, but you aren't going to find disappointment in those packs....
Is shitting on DJ Short the new hip thing to do?
It's all fun and games to bash a breeder when shitty growing techniques bring out nanners on your buds.
But there's literally thousands of keeper cuts of DJ's Blueberry floating around the world, not to mention the pure volume of strains it has been crossed with. Add into that other famous (quality) strains like Flo, Cocoa Kush, and Blue Moonshine, and I don't even understand why you would bring him up in conversation with fraudsters like Doggie's Nuts/Puka Seeds/CropiCanna.
I guess mostly I don't understand why, after like five people have given you the RIGHT answer, you are still asking for the answer you want to hear. Here is my recommendation now: buy yourself a pack of DN seeds after plenty of people have told you not to, and tell us you will journal them. That way we can be guaranteed to never hear from you again.
No, and I never will.I was wondering if anyone has any grows with any of the strains listed above????
No, and I never will.
The company has been defunct for several years, and this ALL BY ITSELF is reason not to buy the ceeds, because they're all old stock, and reportedly have poor germination rates. At $20-30/pack, maybe its worth taking a chance on something like that (eg KC Brains), but at $200/pack its crazy. Even if you got a few ceeds to germinate, the per ceed cost could be higher than entire PACKS of known great ceeds from other breeders.
On actual genetic quality, there is ZERO reason to think DN's versions of these strains are any better than half a dozen other breeders who offer the same lines.
The owner (or former owner) of DN, wasn't a known breeder, and instead had the reputation of being a scam artist. So its pretty improbable that he really "worked" these lines. More likely they're either commercially grown ceeds repackaged under the DN label, or F1s lifted directly from other breeders. His versions of these things may well be the most expensive beans out there, but there is no way they're the best.
I've seen a report on someone who shelled out the money for DN Northern Lights, and he said the few plants that germinated grew into stunted hermies that ended up pollinating his entire room. Ouch.
Personally, I'm not even sure I'd grow these out if given a pack for FREE. . .I have have other stuff I'd rather spend the energy on .
Bottom line is, if you're foolish enough to spend the ridiculous prices for these, and lucky enough to get any to germinate, I don't think you can expect to get results any better than half a dozen other breeders of the same things.
Man is everyone on here an uneducated a-hole!??!Just buy them already no one here is dumb enough to ignore the warning signs. That is why there are no reports.
As for why attitude would sell them, I bet DN's owner owns another brand and used that as leverage to get them to carry it, or Attitude got offered a huge cut of the inflated price.
How about you ask your father? You sound like a 3 year old?
Why Daddy?

Doggies Nuts are defunked.Look people if you have an answer to my thread please share it.........if you dont then dont chime in.......simple enough?????
I am so tired of all you so called cyber growers who think you know it all....when you dont know jack?
All your negative condecending answers.....but no one can answer my questions.....so please dont answer!
Doggies Nuts are defunked.
They scammed people with dud seeds for stupid amounts of money
You'll find many grow journals which are not completed for this very reason.
You'll find many people claiming they're good, then growing them, then never being seen again due to embarrassment of being scammed.
Does that answer your question?
Edit: This is also the reason people are saying "grow it and find out" because no one has finished a journal. When I say no one, I mean the majority of people. I'm sure they did perhaps have one or two keepers in their packs, but who knows and who cares. Who the hell wants to spend $500 on 10 fem seeds anyway.
It's an illegal market, therefore, price doesn't always guarantee quality, like you find with most expensive brands of clothing/electricals.
Here is a link for you, which explains everything. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=The+Doggies+Nuts+seeds+rip+off#
Why are you asking about ceeds you have zero intention of buying, and if not, what difference does it make how much they cost? The seeds i'm talking about are only a little more than a hundred per pack!
And why does everyone ASSUME i am going to buy their seeds i never said that at all!
I made my point. If you choose to disregard it, so be it.Also a major question that needs to be answered first to make your point that they are illlegit;
Why would good reputable seed banks like attitude and sea of seeds be a rep for their gear?
I see you don't know much about how the ceed business operates. They must have had the genetics if they are gonna put their name on it?
Clearly, you're the consummate businessperson, but might I suggest that just maybe you'll have a little more success with a different sales pitch? And how did they become able to even sell their seeds through other banks? I just cant call up attitude and say....i am kona nutz, i have these strains they are super expensive, and i have nothing to back it up, sell my seeds ok??
Pukka ceeds and Doggie's Nuts were both owned by the same guy.It just doesnt make any sense...i could see if they just represented themselves, but they are being represented by a major seed bank. Pukka seeds was aroung for a while if i remember correctly, not sure about croppi canna......but how can these fake companies do business with place that are going to sell their stuff with zero results?
Thanks for the name-calling. Way to make friends and influence people.Man is everyone on here an uneducated a-hole!??!
I clearly stated i was not planing on purchasing seeds from them!!!! What cant you guys read!!!????!!
If you're not going to buy the ceeds, what on earth difference does it make? All i wanted to know was if anyone had any reports themselves with the strains i listed.......THATS ALL!!!!!!
You got a number of explanations of why growers with a clue WON'T buy and try their ceeds. All i got was a bunch of negative shit from people who havent even bought n tried their seeds!!!!!
The answer isn't "speculative". Doggies Nuts *IS* defunct, the gear is all old stock. And many seed co.'s sold their gear not just Attitude so you speculative answer is weak! If you had some facts to back up what u say i'd be all ears!
Perhaps you can explain to me how they could return ceeds to a company that has no assets and no longer exists, or why they would even want to try.Sounds like a big risk....dont know if they work off of consignment, or do they purchase the seeds, then mark them up and resell them? Cause if your saying they went out of business a couple of years ago, then why didnt they just return the seed stock to doggie nutz and be done with them?
Oh. . .so you're now asking how seedbanks operate?I think they must buy the seeds from the breeder first.....so why would you buy such expensive stock from an unreputable breeder if your gonna take a loss???? Someone come up with a good answer to this??
