Sour Cherry

Type:Hybrid indica/sativa
Sex:Regular F2
Genetics:C4 (Casey Jones & Headband, Cherry Cheese, Livers (aka Blues)
Flowering Time:7-10 weeks
Outdoor Harvest:Sept/Oct
Height:Medium
THC Level:Medium
Characteristics:Great daytime smoke enabling you to get through your day with a super Cherry Smile on your face.

The Sour Cherry is a strain created by a grower called Hemlock using a mix of genetics from various people from the UK, the US and the Netherlands.

Bringing various tasty strains together the Sour Cherry provides some lovely colourful surprises. With a number of distinct phenotypes seen so far, this strain produces some lovely Deep Purple and Red colours right within the calyxes as well as spreading out to sugar leaves. There are also some greener phenotypes with similar structure and fat flowers. This is truly a colourful weed. The structure takes on both the C4 calyx architecture and the Casey Jones conker like leaves that came through in the Caseyband.

Taken at 7-8 weeks the smoke is great, lovely racy high, but 9-10 weeks and the calyxes really swell up and create super dense bud structures. On the nose of the purple coloured Sour Cherry phenotype you have a nice citrusy sour smell and a sweetness when the bud is broken out.

First hit of the bong, lovely and smooth, doesn’t take your breath away, but gently caresses your throat. The hit wipes away last night’s cobwebs and bring an airy feeling inside the head; clear but also nicely high. I foresee this as a great day time smoke enabling you to get through your day with a super Cherry Smile on your face. More to come on the other phenotypes soon.

That's some deep shit right there... gently caresses your throat... the guy who wrote that description was obviously ripped out of his mind.

ok i know im super late on the update but i wasnt lying when i said i was lazy. super busy + super lazy = no updates for riu. I got everything in the ground outdoors and indoors is chugging along well. Godsgift looks like its got 2 weeks til finish n maybe 3 weeks on the blue dreams. gsc still lookin like a month away not really moving along all that fast. but here are a few pics. oh n dont ask what happened to the leaves on the blue dreams cuz i dont know. it just started happening like a week ago n it doesnt seem to be affecting bud development n its only the blue dream that it happened to. it doesnt look like the normal yellowing/dying off of leaves that comes with flowering so i dont know, but i also dont really care. oh and i got male pollen sacks on my blue dream that ive been spraying with colloidal silver so i should be able to harvest some female pollen in a few weeks here.

I just use safer caterpillar killer, works like a charm. I start sprayin once a week about 3-4 weeks after I put them in the ground so ill start sprayin in about 2-3 weeks. A lot of people alternate bt (active ingredient in safer caterpillar killer) with spinosad but I have always got good results with just bt.

If u can put up some type of netting or screen that works wonders... last year I did that n I didn't even bother with sprayin em with anything n I didn't get a single caterpillar.

If you don't have something for the bugs yet get something soon. I have been spraying for about a month now. :) Safer is what I am using for the time being. :)

i have a similar tiller. its a sears. 6 hp. nice plants. the two i put into my garden soil, are not going anywhere. nice plants. looks like u will have plenty of personal smoke for the rest of your days. lol. i dont seem to have outdoor bug problems where i live. in western wash. but, i put sevin, or spectracide, on all my lawn. and "home defense" around the house. just to make sure. one things is for sure. no fleas on the animals. mites dont like moving air. they like stagnant, damp areas. never had em. nor the catapillars.

Spider mites like dry heat...never heard of them liking dampness.
