If you're up to it, I'd like to see how you make oil Slip. I've made dry ice hash. It seemed like the easiest method for a newb like me and I was still overwhelmed by my first trimming, drying, and curing. I see there are a lot of different ways to extract the thc from the fan and trim leaves.

I´ll make some oil in a few day`s, when I have enough dry trim, curious how much this trim will give, so sticky :D

and yes there is a "few" way`s to do it, I like to use normal lighter gas as its easy, both to get and use, just have to be careful not to blow your house up :D
also why I only make a little at the time and always under the ventilation over my stove on max, and the container I use can only keep 5 gram`s of trim and maybe 1/10 of a bottle of gas

last picture is day 1 of the new Veg. plant moved in yesterday, so had 4 hrs less light this morning, been topped/FIM/LST a "bit" :D

weight the Bud`s to day 72 gram`s :mrgreen: plus the few I had up front ;)

did surprise me a bit, plant did look amazing and all, but after harvest/trimming it did look a bit "skinny" but seems like the great genetic gave me some very compact Bud`s and potent I may add

pretty amazing that little lower Bud weigh 1,5 gram`s I would have guess half of that maybe ..

also made a bit of oil from some trimming

as I said before, I just make it in a small (DIY) stainless steel container with a few grams of cutting, don't want to blow my house up :D
so I only use like 1/10 of a bottle of gas and I get maybe 1/4 grams out of 3-4 grams of cutting but its soooo sticky and so strong, usually just mix in a few drop`s to the mix of Bud/tobacco, enough to make it kick ass



second plant is really maturing nicely now, guess sunday will be the day ;) (day 56, precise week 8 )

and new one is also taking off, seem`s to love the LEDs like the others :D

good thing its watering day to day, really praying for Mg and screaming for Nitrogen :D no wonder with all that growth

also a good thing the second is about done, since the others is about ready to go in, the hempy Bucket is getting close to the T5HOs and Im about as high up with em as I like

and the clone of the one I just harvest for 72 grams is also about ready, just repotted it 3 days ago in to a 3 gallon pot

the one in front I like, seen it before with this strain, rapid growth that result in leaves that look weird, just repotted from Cup`s as well

Isn't it freaky how dense the buds can get? Some of the Black Widow buds I have curing were just so ridiculously heavy this round it makes me think I should move my panel up more next run. The buds are so dense I think I've grown the smallest QP (quarter pound or ~112 grams) in US history :). Have you moved your panel up after bleaching/hash-tippping the first batch of LSD? Because your next round looks fat and amazing and I'm wondering, "what have you tweaked this time Mr. Slip":shock: ?

yea amazing, some of the bigger Bud`s weigh +7 grams :D not bad, cant wait to see what the "good" pheno will give, main Bud must be close to 20 grams Im sure, if it yield the same I will reach the 0,5 gram per watt mark

and yes I moved it up a few inch`s from 12-15" to 15-18" seem like the "right" distance for this panel, tho it all depend I guess, the "good" pheno thats still under it until sunday is not more then 12" from it with no bleaching ? but lets see with 18" I can also better cover all 3 plant`s, will make some tweaks and move it around a bit in there beside a good clean up once I harvest the last one sunday, but its more about getting the light up in a new position and the maylor and add the two CFLs on each side and make the air flow spread out over all 3 plant`s aso

lol yea, I guess so, and yes your right, it is also about 20 years old, had it half my live :D no need for more, I don't sell, got it from a "friend" who couldn't pay me back some money once, just use it to check the stuff I buy and now for fun to see my bud weight, do the job, why consume

look pretty sweet, and compact :D cant wait, last 3 waterings have been only clean water, tho first two of them with a bit of molasses with it

main Bud mesure almost 25 cm (about 10 inch`s)

and all of em is nice and frosty

have soon smoked 10 grams of the other plant (including the few "early" samples) and still no seed`s ? I wonder if Im just lucky, or the 8 male ball`s did`t have any potent pollen in em ? got em on jar`s now to cure em and when I turn the jar`s they are so stick they stick to the bottom :D quality is minimum the same as the 600W HPS at its best, and yield is acceptable for the watt used

and the new plant at day 5 of 12/12

main top was FIM`d, like the other 8 I got from LSTìng, tho only 4 of em responded well, last just grew up agin, but still got a lot of grow tip`s and main have 3 :D

Making me jealous man. I've got a long way to go, guestimating early mid Sept before I'm ready.

Nodes are nice and tight, getting good light from the LEDs.

Looks great!

May I ask you something, Slipon? How much yield was this in comparison to the same yield when dried? I'm asking because (except from being a newbie) I'm reading that they can give you, for example up to 60 gramms (2 ounces). Is this the dry yield or the one it weighs just after trimming?

Yeah, nothing wrong there, they are definitely solid enough!
Iv'e ordered an Apollo 8 as well.. went with red/white spec. I have too many LEDS for so few plants i'm game to grow.. but i'll get around to using them :hump: (or selling some)

yea I guess between 2 and 3 Oz, pretty compact, and yep, red/white seem`s to do the trick ;)

and Im always talking dry Bud`s witch normal weight 1/4 of wet bud, if compact enough maybe 1/3, so I bet them Bud`s I just harvest weight about 8-12 Oz
