Do you have a fan in there?
If not, get one that makes the plant GENTLY sway & that will do wonders for strengthening the stem.
And as mentioned, you might have some light stretching going on - you should consider getting the lighting closer.

Fan is in but isnt pointing directly to the plant on the lowest i could.. Il post pics now of whole thing

Yeah it's leaning towards the light. How many watts. Try getting a couple more at least if you don't have an hid. And as said above keep that fan on it.

it looks healthy and strong to me....looks to me like its trying to get more horizontal growth, maybe cause it senses a narrow light source? ie, bottom fan leaves got shaded quickly from new growth...

The same thing is happening to my plant I got it under a 4 ft hid light I just put sticks for it to LAN on thus morning and its standing on is own right now

You can get a clamp on light socket and put a couple 45 watt cfl's in It with a Y socket adapter. Get one cool white or daylight, and one warm light or sunlight cfl. They are relatively cheap and will give you a good broad spectrum of light to more closely mimic the full spectrum light of the sun. Check your local hardware store, they will have it all for like 30-40 dollars. Your plants will love it and you'll get more out of your plant I guarantee.

you can also get a complete hid setup for less than 100 pounds, infact iv seen many for only 55 pounds, the ballast and reflector are pretty decent, but you may need another bulb for them as the bulbs they sell are pretty cheap, have a look on ebay, im assuming you are from the US so i cannot link you to anything that wouldn't cost you 50 in postage, have a look, a small 250 would be perfect for that, and you would pull a couple oz of dense buds, instead of a few gramms of fluff with the t5, also a fan would be good to help the stem strengthen.

Im not 100% on this but a better lighting setup could also help improve the node spacing and strenth of the stem, all of mine have thick stems, when i used to use cfl i noticed that my plants were a bit stretchy, ie the cfl makes them stretch before they have time to get a nice fat stem, a hid setup would create nice close node spacing keep ur plant short untill it has a stem capable of holding what it is going to grow.

what nutes and nugs said will be the most cost effective for you, so they set up like this . ' . with the plant in the middle. i would also suggest mixing the sectrtum, for veging i would have the top light 2700k and the two side lights 6500k, then reverse for flowering. this way the plant can maximise its bottom fan leaves too. in any case, that size plant needs more light whatever you decide.

EDIT: also, T5's can range from 28w to 54w, the generic one is usually the 28 which is around 3450 lumens i think.

Go get more lighting and lil bamboo stakes and some kind of tie wrap or twine. .

You need more light though . It would stay short and bush out with more light and especially w a blue hue.
