The way I am doing it, I believe I dont need to rest the soil. I grow in big containers often time 12/12 from seed. There isnt a lot of roots at harvest. I just basically pull the stalk and whatever that follows and I do as stated above...

Not sure what you mean by microbed out ... why would you want to do this? My goal with this way of growing is that I dont really ever have to inoculate my soil with microbes because they are always all there from the previous grow.

On a small scale like we do, it's really hard to talk about changes like you have experienced. Were you growing the same strain and the same cut ?

Anyway I am really excited about this... I think it's going to take my growing to another level ... without having to build raised beds or without having to grow in massive 30-40 gals container. With that said the SkunkHaze in the massive ROLS pot is really loving all the root space!! ITS A NICE 12/12FROM SEED PLANT!

I meant microbes out as in full of beneficial bacteria, fungi and enzymes. You definitely need to give it enzymes prior to planting to break down the roots. microbes are there as long as the soil doesn't dry out and the have food. I mainly meant about te enzymes. That made a big difference.

I had no idea he was selling those. I would of jumped on that. But Im in cali though. I.don't think he would ship them.

I can't say where I got them from, they just appeared in the mail box one day! it was a long time ago as I have grown 1 female already and it was documented in here!! The first 2 plants I grew, I had one plant that was hermi from the start of budding, the other a female to the end lol. The smell was out of this world, some of the best buds I have vaporized. Smoking didnt do it for me... I mean it was good pot but nothing compared to the vaporizing taste!

@Hyroot. Ok well I dont think I really need to worry about anything to break the roots down, they will break down over time, like I said there is so little roots, dont forget I grow small plants in 7gals container! Which in the end, is what will allow me to grow in them back to back to back to back. Not to mention, with this way of doing it, the bottom layer is always 100% free of roots.

12/12 fs doesn't fill out 7 gals? Im doing my 12/12 fs in 3 gals. But my clones are on 7 gal. Veged for 6-8 weeks.

Well to be honest I am seeing some more potential in small container after using them myself. with Supersoil though, 5 gallons is as small as I would ever go. I understand that with commercial fertilizers, 2 gallons is the norm. I do have to deal with humidity much more than if I was to grow with smaller containers, but the yield and the end results in my opinion outweighs growing in small containers with chems.

I will look in my junk again, however, my agreements were with Brent at Fero and not with Jeff at A51. I have been giving him some good advertising (without even trying...) but that's just that. I know I would grow even bigger/frostier buds with the new SGS160 (just fishing here lol) and I do have some older lights that could be replaced (huhuhuhhhhu blackstar cough**some more) but it's not like I would use anymore power that what I am using now. In fact, as planned, I am experimenting with using a little less wattage per sq.ft. right now, being that it's summer time and HOT in the house when room2 is ON FULL ON!!

So as of last week, room 2 is drawing about 1300 watts as opposed to (90+90+1200+540=1830watts) at full capacity. I guess I should write that kind of stuff in my journal too lol.

This is SB X HAOMA ... neither strain in the cross are high yielding strain and even though the total weight for the plant won't be that good (mostly indica, 12/12 from seed....) The buds are all pretty big! very nice plant! oh and again the bottom of the plant was ridiculously loaded with hard nugs.


It's been very very hot in my rooms ... in my house! Fuck it's hot! So I have been trying to fix this and I think what I ll do is room1 will be my low wattage per square foot room, and for room2, I will use freshair from outside and exhaust outside as well.. july is supposed to be nice I just hope the RH don't go too crazy.

I won't be running the 2 dehums either, only 1. Anyway .. .fingers crossed i hope all goes well! If all goes well room2 will be back to 1500+watts but right now I am running very low power coze my rooms are hovering around 30 celcius if my lights are all on.

HAOMA!! So fruity!! it isnt the most resinous strain, it takes a while for the resin to show up in higher concentration so dont worry if she is not that frosty early on (has been the case when I grew them anyway...) I said it earlier but it's worth saying again, you will love looking at the resin with the microscope, this plant really produce perfect trichomes. I prefer the SB X HAOMA so far but I have not grown many Haomas. Also my crosses ( I had seeds from a few haomas... ) were not great in the way that I basically pollinated all 3 Haomas I had and I am not sure whether I had a special pheno among them or not. But this plant I harvested today was really awesome and would really yield well with veg time.

I just chopped the SB X MED QUICK PUSSY stink pheno... the one that was pollinated by a male of the same batch of seeds.

I have probably 200ish seeds, so they are F1 PussyBomb I am not sure about the name yet hehe ... the plant smells like pussy from week 3-6 kinda but no more at harvest ... still a beautiful smell though. Maybe after curing I am looking forward to grow some seeds because I believe the flowering time will be extremely fast!!

She is UBER happy.... I mean UBER..... Absolutely LOVING the side lighting, and I don't mean maybe. I've never seen such developed lower branches!

She is a BEAUTY!! Man seriously Haoma (well SB X HAOMA...) is Such a good smelling strain. I am currently toking on SB X CHEMO and it is really some of the best pot I have grown / smoked... It's not as fruity as Haoma but the smoke is just a nice strong smoke.

BTW, I forgot to say that I have a few SB X WW being sexed right now... that's right, SpaceBomb X WhiteWidow !! I had 8 seeds from that cross and about 4 of them germinated ... Another cross that could potentially be wickedly good!

I will have the Canon T3i tomorrow and will update my journal shortly there after.

The Cheese is going to be huge but what a slow grower that one is!! well I mean slow to bud!

hehe thanks! always nice to smoke on them buds. Absolutely everything that has been coming out in the last 6 months have been a delicacy to smoke!

Note to myself:

today I transplanted a Respect female from Reggae Seeds (attempting to clone (2) her as well) and I also transplanted quick med in the big ROLS container.

I am also chopping 2 small SB X NYCD , covered with resin, one of em has seeds from male Revolution from reggae seeds. I will try to post pics of the buds but my woman is gone with her camera... I have been slacking with the pics and updates, I have probs with my hands and I dont spend a lot of time on computer. Sorry about that!!
