I used the ancestor of your flower full one in Morocco in the late 70. They work great. I have not seen better but I do not do oil extract outside of the specific needs of some cancer patients. In short NOT FOR SMOKING.
Is that because of possible residue from the alcohol? (that why i favour an alcohol that is meant for human consumption) or that it's tricky and messy? My first run was like a dark molasses with a deep smell. I've been advised that a quick rinse will result in a much lighter amber colour. Reclamation time of alcohol was around 14hrs. Question Would doing a full extraction with the material starting in the machine result in a more holistic medical oil as it would also contain the cannabinoids and oil found within the plant material itself, rather than just those within the trichomes.

Have you thought of putting your kief into a vacuum sealed bag and then using a water bath to bring it up to constant temperature throughout before piercing and pressing. That way you could experiment with various temps. My Cherniak arrived today. Hooray! Thanks for the heads up.

I should mention the story behind the Hashish T-shirts.
So Trichomes Artists Promotion is a fictive music producing company that is promoting 2 fictive music bands, Hashish and Charas.
Every T-shirt is the cover of a LP/CD or made for a Tour done by the band.
I have quite a few coming, really fun, especially if you get all of the "message", the Press 2 Activate and Chill Out are a pretty good example of what I mean.

I don't know much about hash either, but back in the day a friend turned me on the Lebanese blond hash? Any ideas what that is?
Anywise oh boy those look so good and tasty. After smoking some I'd probably end up eating the whole thing thinking it was a tootsie roll. And then I'd be really messed up, if as you say the THC has been activated by heat in the process of creating hash.
Therefore my next question why smoke it and not just eat it and if it can be eaten that the THC is activate and will metabolize in the body, why not add some honey and eat it or pure maple syrup?

No it is not a question of residue, the oil is super clean when made with grain alcohol, the cleanliness is not the question. You are making with this machine what everybody call "Simpson oil". Incredible medicinal properties when applied on skin and ingested.
The process you will choose depends on the final use of the oil.
Yes I have used water bath but I am a control freak + with dry kief it is fine but with ice water trichomes it will only enhance your humidity problem.

I actually do exactly that in the morning with my coffee. You do not need to activate the THC with heat, your liver process the cannabinoids in a different way, the reason why the buzz are so different.
In all Muslim culture Hashish has been mixed with nuts, honey and spices for centuries and has been a delicacies in high circle of society. So yes mixed it up, eat it up and be careful how much you ingest

It looks super oily, you should keep it in glass, would be a shame to loose. Have you seen any changes (texture, smell, etc.) after 6 months. What are the taste and smell, I have never seen a Silver Kush.

Only thing I have noticed is that the oil really has started to ooze out of the hashish. The SilverKush is a (OG 18 x SilverBubble). Has a somewhat cheezy/kushy scent. The smoke is very rich and earthy with that cheezy undertone. Yes. I am going to press once more and roll it into a ball and store for at least another month before I try it
