DMT... aliens or god? What is the 'presence'

dude honeslty im not trying to be a dick, your just getting defensive because someone called you out on it, like he said, you just want to hear what you want to hear and the rest of us the opinion dont matter, well then why ask us? go ask 'strassman' what he thinks, im quite confident ive smoked dmt more times then all three of you combined, its neither here nor there. so i dont really give a fuck what any doctor or scientist says, a chemical is a chemical an extra-terrestrial being is that and a god is a god, they are 3 seperate things and 2 of them have nothing to do with smoking dmt. so whats up, u mad bro? if you didnt want to hear your theory for drugs get shot down, this was the wrong place to come, no one gonna hold your hand here. i dont need to be brighter than any one person or have more research than dude mcfuck, none of that matters to me, the drug dmt and its effects does NOT have anythign to do with aliens or god, i mean how could it? logically ask yourself this question and you clearly see how naive the logic is. its basically saying anytime 1 human being smokes deemsters aliens or god get a little pop up notice or an email saying 'hey dude smoked deemsters so fuck him up' i dont understand how anyone could get this confused a chemical is a chemical, dmt is an intense fucking trip and religion is an experience all in itslef and im sure encountering extra-terres. is a exp. all in itself as well, but none of it relates to one another, sorry, i calls em how i sees' em you can get as mad youd like to at me and call me any name you want or think im so stupid, but none of that will change the fact that dmt has nothing to do with a higher power of some sort. lolwow

As a metaphor, consider infrared goggles. A person leans on a tree. At night, we don't see the person. Put the goggles on, and a new reality results — a truer reality — and we see the man. Similarly, is it possible that our brain is a filter, and the use of DMT is like slipping on infrared goggles, allowing us to perceive a valid reality that is inches away and all around us?

this is why I like to read McKenna, I think he puts ur critical thinking skills on full blast, right or wrong he makes some interesting points..but unfortunatly this thread has taken a fat shit all over the place

Only smoke deems a few times but I don't find it to even be as potent as say 1000 mics of good L. I've discussed it with a bunch of people and most of the really hardcore acid heads I know feel the same way.

You continually fall back to your "you haven't done DMT, therefore you can't know it isn't aliens", but not only have we heard numerous reports from DMT users claiming no sensed presence (which your hypothesis completely relies on), but we've also seen scientific studies that show demonstrable evidence that discredits your hypothesis.

Does everyone really believe life is as bland as you make it out to be? Im pretty sure we live in an inter-dimensional world, whether you want to accept it or not we're only perceiving what our senses are telling our brain. I honestly believe some people have really helped humanity advance as a whole after using hallucinogens. You could even present the theory, if we evolved from monkeys, that mushrooms or other hallucinogens really helped our ancestors brains advance and DNA change, I say this with no scientific backing and only consider it a theory of course. I really think there is something more to hallucinogens than simply 'drugs'. Another interesting fact is spores can travel the vacuum of space without degrading, making mushrooms very possibly alien.

Yes, i absolutley agree with you veg, smoeone who hasnt done dmt should not be even commenting on this because there opinion is nil, i HAVE seen elves before smoking dmt, i ws at a MOE show and a bunch of us were smoking it, and i saw multiple elves blast off into outer space going to what i thought was the moe. show lol i think it was just a really hard trip tho bro, thats all lol
