it's really not bad. it's more morbid then anything. just the thought of what they are doing grosses me out. they basically ripped my teeth out. i have issues with things like that. "the thought of what's really going on." i can't watch these true life Dr shows. i can't imagine "cutting' into someone. that's just not right. "here, let me lay you open and fix you." whatever.
I hear ya fdd, right there with you. However, when I had a double hernia I was begging them to cut me open and fix it.

I got lucky, my wisdom teeth never grew in, and I am 36 and they still are not there.

well its about 14 hours till the procedure and im kinda scared. just the whole process freaks me out. it sucks ass that right after i get it done, i have to go to the airport, wait a few hours, than fly for about a half hour, than some more time to get home. i get the procedure done at like 11:30-12:30 and i get home around 4-5. not looking forward to that part.

i'm dumb. you're on the islands. i'm in the states. if you run down to mexico they do cheap dental work. it's supposed to be good and safe. you said you were flying and i spaced-out where you were. :dunce::peace:
ohh thats funny. money isnt an issue because its 100% covered. im very fortunate.

Yes, because I didnt want to hear my bones crack. The whole thing took 15 minutes and then I went and had a SAMMICH! My brother, however, got dry socket and had pain for like two months. If theyre not bugging you, keep em. I removed mine after having them for four years because my body decided to destroy them and the jagged edges hurt. The rest of my teeth are perfect.
OH YEAH! forgot a question: can you be asleep during the procedure?

Got all four of mine pulled today. It went very well and I am not experiencing any pain due to the perc 10's that I was prescribed. Now I just need to watch out for dry socket!!

yup mine was minor. they injected the IV (i think) and they told me to think of a happy place. i imagined my self on a perfect wave bodyboarding and i woke up to some cute nurses and they walked me to a little relaxing place so i could wait a little and try to feel better. i starting barfing (with nothing coming out) there and at the airport, i was also barfing. they told me to take 4 pills of 200mg ibuprofen every 6 hours and they gave me some hyrdrocodone if i couldnt tolerate the pain. so far so good, i have to go back in july and get the rest done. the stitches in my mouth are kinda annoying.
