End of your answers i hope, you are aware the lumen output varies by the bulb yes some 600's are 95k some are 85k, some 400's are 55k some are not meaning your math is false due to not having the proper variables represented. And also the quality of the bulb as well, you get what you pay for, if you go cheap expect to lose lumen output quicker then more expensive.. Theres variables into play here some ppl are not taking into consideration. Instead they spew out an answer in an attempt to try to get their rep and post count up... Gotta love the scene kids...400 watt HPS = 54,000 lumens. 600 watt HPS = 90,000 lumens.
54,000 x 3 = 162,000 lumens
90,000 x 2 = 180,000 lumens
Numbers dont lie. 2x 600 is better then 3x 400....

The answer is yes 2 600's can, if you do your research and stop listening to scene kids..
