Get Vegucated

I probably haven't gone a day in the last 24 years without eating meat.

I've only cut out meat as of a week ago.

You knew it was bad for you before watching vegucated though, right? At least red meat, and excessive consumption of meat. I don't think the linking of meat with heart disease is anything new.

Obviously genetics plays a role, but I would say diet plays a bigger role.
I can agree that diet in some degree plays a large part in the outcome of health and it's ails, but lifestyle and environment also play larger roles then some might believe. It's seems to me that the literature about this subject is so varied and which portion of that information is focused on depends on the circumstances in which they are asked.

When I was younger the doctrine was the 4 basic food groups, it has since been splintered into subcategories, depending on which lifestyle/environment is presented to the individual the diet will adjust accordingly.

This sounds worse than prison food.

I'm sure this has been commented and discussed, but what about the Native Americans that had to live off bison for thousands of years?.

Even in Biblical times, man had no choice but to eat fish for survival.
but that was thousand of years ago for survival, now we have a choice we are not wearing loincloths and making arrow heads , some choose to eat meat and some dont and thats okay by me
now if this is what prison serves ill gladly go lol

let me know the next time a cow performs surgery on a baby and saves it's life.
A human doctor saved my fathers life, not an orangatang dressed in a white lab coat.
Let me know the next time a doctor cures cancer in a patient like plant-based foods/extracts. See how dumb your argument is? Humans, animals, insects, plants, all rely on each other in some form or another. Take for example the honey bee. They are dying off in huge quantities right now and humans would pay dearly if they were to go extinct. Another example is cannabis. One herb can cure so many different things.

Also that argument seems kind of shitty. What about our ancestors that got their foot stuck between rocks and had to cut off their foot to survive? If they hadn't done it they would have died and not passed on their genes. Therefore I should cut off my foot. Just because ancestors did it (or actually needed to do it) to survive doesn't mean we should also.

I mean your ancestors also used to drink contaminated water directly out of a stream. They didn't know any better and they needed water to survive. How often do you just drink straight out of a river or lake though?

What are you rambling about? Who is making claims that it's ok to eat animals because they are not part of the ecosystem? No one said honey bees are disposable and inconsequential. Just because a cog of a machine is critical for the machines function doesn't mean the cog is more valuable than other components.

Try to keep up. He's trying to argue that human life is more valuable than other life because a human saved his dad by performing surgery. And I'm saying, plants (other life) have saved way more human lives than humans. Another example is dogs (other life). Many dogs will fight and defend their owners, physically protecting them. All forms of life rely on each other in some way or another.

If you ever show up in an ER needing surgery, call yourself a dog. You can't even make a cogent, logical argument. You pick and choose what you answer!

Good Calories, Bad Calories is a meta-analysis of the current state of nutritional science. It discusses the flawed cholesterol and atherosclerosis causing heart disease studies. Right now the mover's and shakers in medicine believe the culprit is insulin. But the punch line is there has been less than ZERO real nutritional science done since 1930. It's all been purchased by ADM and Con Agra.

(1) Learn to classify sources,
(2) Take a real biology class your taxonomy skills are beyond taxed,
(3) Stop confusing your religion for science.
