Hey SOMEBEECH, dude you have some killer bud there, very nice work! I bet that stuff is too sticky to roll!

I'm just starting another round, doing some Bubble Gum autos now, they are just breaking ground this week. Right behind the bubble gum is some Super Skunk Autos then over winter I'm going to plant some more Chem Dog and Fruity Chronic Juice, two of my favorite past grows.

Called a greenhouse/coldframe smartass old man hahahaha.l.Yes even in texas. Try it out
End of January beginning of feb is the only time it got cold where I live(d)
Really not too hard as long as it warms back up during the day. Of course u lose a few and some strains don't like it
But in a greenhouse spaceheaters and extra tarps will keep it warm. In the coldframes I would cover with canvas and or plastic and use warm water bowls. Some nights I did/do bring them indoors. Winter is the only time I don't care if the greenhouse ones freeze or die off because winter and summer is the only time I grow indoors.so there's plenty I like to crop out as many times in a yr autos and photos.
I've really only been growing for 3 or 4 yrs now but in that time it never got cold enough for me to skip a winter crop or lose all my babies. I moved to a new area and don't have greenhouse or anything so this yr maybe no outdoor.

FYI this was in west texas.. Midessa..In damn near 30 yrs I've seen inches of snow only a few times most yrs it doesn't stick
Now I'm near austin So prolly won't work as well here but this year I learned about RAINfall collection. Something I had never ever been able to do lmao

Bought a 305 gal. tank from Tank Depot in Lakeway. One gutter on my greenhouse feeds it using a 4" flexible wastewater hose attached to the gutter outlet and then dropped down into the 16" hole. It took only 3/4" of rain to fill it. Bought a cheap transfer pump which I installed on a greenhouse column. I run the intake hose out a vent and drop it into the tank and use a garden hose to water my plants. Works like a champ and the plants love the rainwater.

I used to do winter seed runs on the edge of the hill country. Nobody expects it and all it took to help them through was frost blankets and occasional jugs of hot water left under said blankets to help keep them warm. The seeding also seems to help keep the plant from freaking out with increasing light cycles. The weed has NO bag appeal but smokes perfectly well... and if you've played your cards right you have plenty quality beans to play with and trade or share.

I've only ever run autos once and it was an outdoor winter grow like i mentioned. I did it as a favor to a friend as a test run. They were DNA 90 day wonders ( an auto williams wonder). I Xed them to a C99.... if you grew out and F2ed these I'm sure you'd find autos. None that i saw or knew of showed auto in the F1 gen. I gave all of the beans to a friend who wanted to try his hand at breeding autos. I don't want autos. :P

The weed was OK, but not as good as the off season c99 that grew along side her.

i've obviously never bred an auto (or anything lol) but i read that autos are usually quick/hearty flowering sativa-heavy strains x ruderalis. that's my extent of knowledge on the subject though hehe, you probably already knew that :P

Autos come from the ruderalis genetics. When you cross auto with photo you get a mixed bag. I forget how many generations before you get all auto.

I want to make a shit ton of autos and make seed bombs with them. Go around throwing them in planters and out of the way spots they won't get mowed, weedeated, or pulled
