A stroll down the back road

this is a mix or plants on my backroad, they are planted in 45 , 65 and 100 gallon pots with super soil as their main source of nutrients, I have been using some supplements and will be feeding them a molasses drench. Most plants are just stating to bud up and a few are farther along. There is a mix of test plants, plants that have done well outside before, and some plants that I love in the greenhouses or inside but haven't tried outdoors yet.

This is a tester I ran this winter she is a Purple Urkle x Santa Marta Colombian Gold, Indoors she developed subtle hues of purple that faded as she matured , this lady had the distinct Urkle grape-hash taste coupled with an camphor-earthy spiciness from the Colombian. The growth was all Colombian, tall, lanky, great roots, nice yields (urkle added density), and crazy little fox-tails. O yeah and she is strong, you look wrecked after puffin this in the morning. So, now I want to see how she does outside, beside her 12 week flowering time she should do stellar if the weather permits. It looks like the Urkle helped it start a week or so earlier into flower, that should help.

Here is a Jamaican OG that I have ran for a couple of years she does great in the greenhouse, the deer ate her last year (I've since fenced the yard) and a late season rain this year busted some branches and threw her into early flower. She is quite the runt out here but she is half done already. Normally she would only be few weeks or so into flower by now, but she has been going since the beginning of July... She was also over watered and not that happy, she hasn't been watered for a couple of weeks, but I still see moisture on the bottom of the pot she will be fine I think. Most likely leave her dry till harvest unless things change.

This is my Bogota Breeze she is Exodus Cheese x Exodus Cheese x Santa Marta Colombian Gold. She does nice indoors, the greenhouses and outside. She has a very strong cheese smell and taste, she has a nice Sativa dom. edge to her buzz, grows strong and still finishes in about 8 weeks. I have been preferring this to the cheese mama as of late, because it feels a little lighter on my chest, and feels like a happier buzz.

This is my ATF x Santa Marta Colombian Gold there are two plants in a one hundred gallon smart pot these plants look Colombian Gold all the way. Indoors they finished in about 9 weeks, so I'm looking for a respectable finish outside. These girls taste very Colombian dom. with the distinct ATF pungency pushing through. First time I smoked some it got me out front weeding the flower beds for two hours, good stuff for that afternoon tired feeling...
These are the biggest plants in the garden 8+ feet for sure with the added bulk from the ATF I think a big fat yield is in order!

This is My 2012 Sonoma Harvest Cup 1st place Sativa winner Sour Chelumbian ( E.C.S.D. x Exodus Cheese x Santa Marta Colombian Gold). This girl is awesome indoors and in the greenhouse so I'm giving her a go outside. she goes 9 weeks+ indoors and is starting fairly early outdoors here in Sonoma County, so an early Oct. harvest looks to be insight. I have Two of these girls going each in there own 65 gallon smart pot.

This was a strain that popped out of my compost pile a few years ago along with a few others. It goes like this, I had a Chernoblye male that spit pollen to no end, and he impregnated a few of my mother plants pre flowers before I culled him. I planted my old moms at years end for a small variety run (to make pre-rolls). As I was cleaning those plants for the grinder I found seeds only at the very bases of many of the buds, not through-out them I had a few Purple Urkles a couple of Chelumbians and a few others. Since I figured the seeds came from that Chernoblye male I tossed them in with the rest of the junk, and a few months later I had little spouts popping up. I had six females from the compost pile five were a very resinous Colombian dom. plants and one was a resinous purple beast with rock hard nugs and a sharp woodsy/grape smell, after smoking all of the plants we keep two Colombian meltdown and Royal Phoenix. The Colombian Meltdown has since been culled( I have plenty of Colombian stuff in the works), and the Royal Phoenix has been run several time she does well in all environments but outdoors is her favorite environment.

This girl is in a 65 gallon smart pot and is going good. I'm looking for some nice purpling, a strong grapey-earthy/woodsy inhale and a woodsy flavor left on your lips, from these rock hard nuggs.

This is my Amnesia Haze from Hy-pro seeds she is a beast and just packs on bud, this is my first run outside with her and she has a good early start. I think she will be done by Oct. She already has a nice strong odor coming of her. I've only run her indoors so far we will se how nature treats her, but so far it looks like the sun will bring big buds!!!

This is The Helper (Super Silver Haze x Martian Mean Green) I got these seeds when My wife and I were a sponsor(Happy Chief) for the 2006 Cannabis Cup in The Dam. they were given to me by DNA as a tester strain. I labeled it Helper after a friend of mine that doesn't even smoke, go figure. This is and has been my go to morning smoke for five years, I just love it very herbal and a little hazey it's like my morning cup of Earl Gray tea it has tested as high as 22% THC (that was a greenhouse run). I have always had one on the back road and she is a champ, very resistant to mold and bugs. One lady in my co-op swears by it for her leg nerve pain.
she will finish up in the end of October and will look like she was dipped in sugar...

Just about every morn I have a cup of Joe or Tea and enjoy a little bowl of The Helper it hits in strong and fast, it disables me for about five minutes until the fog clears and everything is just fine, I'm energized clearheaded and ready to tackle the day. Almost like it puts you into a meditation then you awaken to a focused, motivated train of thought.

This girl was shadowed out by the surrounding plants a little so I'm losing some size from the overcrowding. She really likes indoors, and she does good in my greenhouses so why not throw one out back and give it a try. She gets a little wispy in the greenhouses if I get some hot days in the second half of flowering, so maybe the great outdoors will do her fine with a nice fresh breeze all day.

One of my favorites it does well everywhere I stick here. She may get a bit more leafy outdoors but she retains her great taste and potent effects she is loved for. I didn't grow her at all last year and she was missed, so I'm staring outside, will plop a couple in a greenhouse and one in an indoor mix this year to keep everyone around here happy.

Finally we have come to the end of the road and there sits another Colombian Thunder Funk this one is less funk and more just Colombian but she is a vigorous girl that stacked on some resin indoors. Looking to see if she will finish the same as the other one outside, so far all phenos look Colombian and are very resinous and half taste just Colombian and the rest Colombian Funkiness. Will be popping a bunch more to see in what ratio I can fine Some ATF features dominating.

Would love to get some of those Super Silver Haze x Martian Mean. Are they available anywhere? I have severe nerve damage in my leg and have been searching for a strain they would give me some relief. Some strains help a little but not enough. Do you think the pain relief attributes are from the SSH or the MM? Or maybe it's just a mix of both? By the way, great job your plants look like they will produce a great harvest.

Don't think they are available anywere as far as I know, if you are in the Sonoma county area I could make some cuttings available through a dispensary, even though playing with seeds would be more fun. I don't know which strain is contributing to the pain relief attributes both are potent sativa hybrids, I would guess its a mix going by the even mix this plant seems to be...

Actually I'm pretty close to Sonoma Co., I'm in Solano Co. If you and the clones are still available for next year maybe we could work something out?
