OK, so this is my first attempt ever at growing. I have limit space in a corner of my bathroom behind the door. I set up an Aerogarden on the tomato setting, added a 5" bubble stone to the water, took a gallon jug and made a CO2 set up by punching a hole in the top adding active yeast and sugar, and running a tube from it and taping it down the middle of the Aerogarden with tiny hole punched in the tubing and I have an 8" box fan to keep the air moving. I lined the walls and the back of the bathroom door with foil. I'm using the Aerogarden nutes at half strength because of threads that I've read here on the forums.

The I've got 4 plants so far, the plants are a week and a half old so far and are about 3" high.

Anything I've missed? Any other suggestions?

Just to agree with the above statment it does apres thet the back 2 pods do grow more rapidly then the other 5. just a thought for everyone

Ok, so my babies are 2 weeks old today from the day I dropped the seeds in the pods. Thought I'd post a few pics and get some opinions. Anything I can improve on? This is my first grow ever indoor or out so I'm open to suggestion.

One of my friends pointed out to me the connetion area for the AG light system is the same 1 for my Ps2 (figure 8 wire) , is it possible to use this or would the voltage be too much for the lights and make them blow?>

I am a newbie that has been on the site for a few months and needs some help. I got the extension cord for the lights and a timer and im ready to flower. Does anyone have a design for a support for the lights? im on a budget so cheap fixes are best. also i have a 90 watt HPS light will that work for flowering purposes? or should i go out and buy something better.. thanks a bunch

the plants are about 2ft tall and ive read that the summer is too hot to keep them in a closet so i moved them into a spare room that gets pretty good sunlight. right now I am still using the Ag nutes and im about to switch to foxfarm. Let me know if i am doing this totally wrong. This is a bit of a test run with some ok seeds. I am saving my good ones for when i have a better idea of what im doing. thanks again for the help.

you can go to like homedepot and get some chain, i got 8' for $5 yesterday for my light and put 4 hooks in the light hood to connect the chain. and id use the hps for flowering for sure but id use the AG lights for side lights atleast

yeah it works fine if it plugs in
the ps2 cord is an ac regular cord and it converts it in the console to dc
the AG cord is an ac regular cord and it converts ac to dc in the ballast

aye guys, im going to cut my girls down this week.. i know at least one is just right, so its now or never at this point. The last nute i gave it was wed... since then, i changed the water, and gave the roots a gentle squeeze to get the nutes out... how many times should i change water before my girls are completly flushed

thats wsup.. good looking... i will post some pics before i chop em down...

Also, i was thinking about cutting em down in the dark.. i heard this keeps the resin in or sumthin of that nature... i have a green party light so i can work in the dark without messing with my light cycle (thanks sir cervantes)

I was thinking about buying the aerogarden and i was about 95% convinced on it until i looked into my wallet and reaslized that i need to get a fuckin job

i germinated mine in a napkin and water then put them in the sponges.i got them about two feet tall and they got broke and i got pissed.i use CANNA nutrients and general hydroponics.to stop the root from rising stick a toothpick between the two openings to close the hole on the sponge good ad tight ad that should resolve that problem.And another problem is the light but i got toe light upgrade for aerogarden and it came with a whole nother light s i riggedup the old light in the front where little to no light was being recieved by the lower foliage,and after i id that they grew very fast.they were almost in the flowering stage when they got broke but i just startded the mendo purps a couple of days ago...so ill post pics and feedback later. oh and thank all you growheads for this very accurate information!THANKS

are the purps being germed or are they planted yet?
