why does the cost per ounce and what not have to go into testimony? to show its far cheaper to grow your own?We are moving right along with the lawsuit! Huurraay!! From 08-15-13 the State/Department has 20 days (not sure if it is business days or calendar days) to file a response to our claim. The judge will review the facts and decide if granting an injunction is needed. Which we are certain it will be granted or at least have high hopes it will be granted! Where we are today in this battle is very important to getting on the surface of the water and staying afloat.

You are correct! You hit the nail on the head... We need proof that we are able to produce medicine cheaper than the $250-450 an ounce which is about what dispensaries are charging. ($250 has been the cheapest I have personally seen out there and $450 is the most I have seen medicine listed for)why does the cost per ounce and what not have to go into testimony? to show its far cheaper to grow your own?
Crop failure is also part on producing your own medicine. think about this for one second... Crop failure happens due to many reasons and sometimes by accident. This needs to go into account to the whole equation. the reason why all this information is critical is because being able to provide for your own health is not cheap and this is not something that can happen over night. It is a whole process and an expense. Not to mention time consuming ( 3-4 months to get flowers). In between you have to acquire hands-on training or learning to be successful. For nearly 2 years the Department failed to give patients safe access to their medicine and forced patient to cultivate their own. So the burden of providing for our own health was forced upon us even though there was a Program in place that was to provide for patients. Well we all know what happened there... They failed and forced over 30k patients to acquire their medicine through home cultivation or from another cardholder But where were the other cardholders to get the medicine to provide to others? Huh Catch 22. Home cultivation is the only solution. Which in itself has its ups and downs. Not everyone is a grower - always keep that in mind! Most patients devoted their time and resources to providing for their own health. Now the AzDHS wants to force patients to participate in the AzDHS ran Dispensary healthcare system which is permitted NOT licensed and cease all home cultivation simply for living within 25 miles of an operating dispensary.! (Permitted not licensed)(Permitted NOT licensed)(important) So here we are today.......and even factoring crop failure...I have grasshoppers bad...lost ~50%, my cost/oz still throws the curve way off.
Credible testimony to those facts would be superb! We went into some details about the quality of the medicine in dispensaries!I imagine you already thought of this but I just wanted to point out another topic to mention is the quality. When you mention the $250 ounces at the dispensary, you should also explain that even the average beginning home grower will produce meds that are far FAR better than the crap that the dispensary has for 250, even on their first grow. The quality of a bud is largely an opinion so I'm not sure how you easy it would be to prove this to the court, but the quality of low-priced dispensary bud is pretty much universally held as horrid
You can't smoke the "usable marijuana" (whatevrr the fuck that means) and your can't have resin based edibles (which all effective edibles essentially are) or tinctures and most certainly can't vape resin based concentrates. Nothing like going after the sick and infirmed who can't care for themselves not to mention a group which would benefit greatly from medical marijuana instead of the opiates, mood stabilizers, ssris, anti nausea, barbituates and other countless prescription poisins.i'm reading the dhs newsletter.
they are telling us to be very careful how we injest pot and they say this to people in old folks homes:
Housing facilities (like nursing homes and hospices) can place reasonable restrictions on residents’ use of medical marijuana. This includes requiring that marijuana be taken in a way other than smoking.
lol
i did less paperwork and jumped through fewer hoops to get a secret clearance in the military than i'll have to do to get my card renewed.
they hate us.
they shit on us.
they will drag this nonsense out for years if not decades.
and they know there isn't a fucking thing we can do about it.
