Earth Gains A Record Amount Of Sea Ice In 2013

looks like pissy, shiny haired OP doesn't understand the difference between area and volume.

total area of sea ice is pretty inconsequential, it is volume that matters.

but some easily duped beta males (who look like women) do not understand this simple yet important distinction.
Ad Hominem In Primus AGAIN!

When are the deniers going to stop grabbing a single isolated event, using this isolated event to attempt to discredit loads of scientific evidence on TRENDS which is the real point. Oh, it snowed in DC in early spring, oh, there is MORE ice this year, oh, it's the sun.

All of which actually demonstrates nothing except the growing instability of the earth's climate.

Fixed that for ya.

4.5 Billion years and counting.
if these trends continue, wow!

we might experience another ice age, or the atmosphere will burn off, or a meteor might hit (again) or the sun might run out of fuel! when will the madness stop??!!??

i'm sure Al Gore has a solution that will fix everything.

NASA has stated CO2 has less of an affect on keeping the Earth warm than previously thought, because, well, NASA actually did measurements n' shit with satellites.

The Earth's core is 1,000 Celsius degrees hotter than MMGW scientists thought.

But the MMGW crowd still can't STFU! Amazing!

The biggest contributors to CO2 which "causes MMGW," has two main culprits: the oceans and the huge "over population problem."

Bill Gates says we should use vaccinations for population control. I say, just ban the ocean!

i have seen no holocaust denial from OP, in this, or any thread i recall.

can you sauce that assertion?
happily.

One thing is clear however, 6 million jews did not die in the holocaust.
Respected by who? the jew?
We have always been told that the number of deaths overall was six million. However, if you do extensive research and take the time to review the works of many Holocaust revisionists, then you may come to the conclusion that the actual number was around one million. Some people speculate that it may be less than that, but one million seems about accurate.*
You may hear people around you talking about how 6 million died and that many were placed into gas chambers. But ask yourself this question, does it ever bother you that the Holocaust story was solely based on confessions and testimonies? I mean, what hard evidence have we really found that proves that the Nazis wanted to systematically exterminate the Jews? I mean seriously. Everything we have been learning about the Holocaust is all based on circumstantial evidence, not damning evidence. Auschwitz State Museum employees even admit their own doubts about the Holocaust.
Many people might view people like us as anti-Semitic, but we're not. We just want to know the truth and be able to communicate the right version of history to others, but this always comes with deadly consequences. British historian David Irving has always been subjected to violence just for expressing his view on the Holocaust which strongly contradicted the widely held version. Jewish revisionist David Cole was receiving death threats from the Jewish Defense League for making a video about what he found which disproves the Holocaust story. So what does this tell you? If the Holocaust was truthfully told, then why are so many revisionists being subject to violence just for expressing their view on the Holocaust?:dunce:

have you told scientists about the existence of these "oceans" and "people"?*

i'm pretty sure if they knew about oceans and people, they would just admit they fucked up and concede defeat to an internet rabbit.

they didn't have much to say in 2010, when we had the hottest year on record despite a lull in solar activity.

but as soon as it snowed...

When it comes to the Climate Change debate its always amazed me that any side would ever invoke the name of Al Gore. Granted it's more one side then the other, but the man is a politician, not a scientist.

You know what politicians do? Spin anything to make money. What do scientists do? Try to solve problems.

I don't care where you stand on the AGW tale, but I do know that dumping pollutants into the environment is never good. And this goes far beyond CO2. Would you breathe it? No? Then try not to dump unforeseen amounts of it into the atmosphere.

I can't speak for even most environmentalists as my views don't jive, but here's 3 easy things everyone should do:

1. Recycle what you can.
2. Compost what organics you can.
3. Ride your bike or fucking walk once in a while.

See? Fuck Carbon tax credits. Fuck Al Gore. Fuck Polluters. Fuck Climate Change Deniers. It's so easy to live an environmentally healthy life (physically healthier at that) that there's no real reason not to. Quit letting politics touch science. It never ends up well.

Launched in spring 2009, Climate Depot claimed it would be "the Senate EPW website on steroids," and "the most comprehensive information center on climate news and the related issues of environment and energy."[SUP][1][/SUP]

FundingClimateDepot.com is being financed by the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, a nonprofit in Washington that advocates for free-market solutions to environmental issues. Public tax filings for 2003-7 (the last five years for which documents are available) show that the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow received hundreds of thousands of dollars from the ExxonMobil Foundation and foundations associated with the billionaire Richard Mellon Scaife, a longtime financier of conservative causes, including being the primary source of money used to fund attacks against Bill Clinton during the Whitewater and Monica Lewinsky eras of his presidency [1]. According to a report issued by the Union of Concerned Scientists, from 1998-2005, approximately 23% of the total ExxonMobil funding for the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow was directed by ExxonMobil for climate change activities [p. 32].
Craig Rucker, a co-founder of the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow, said the committee got a third of its money from other foundations. However, Rucker would not identify them or say how much his foundation would pay Marc Morano. Rucker did say that ExxonMobil did not contribute anything to the Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow in 2008 [2].
