How about we charge a "sea ice" tax to anybody that wants to get married or have an abortion? It would make as much sense as all of the other political bullshit our species has invented.

In any case, the Earth is currently in the interglacial period of an ice age. Typically, these are followed by glacial periods. If global warming can prevent this, then it should be promoted at all costs as far more persons will survive in a hot climate versus the return of an ice age.

I see no reason to doubt the above Wikipedia sourced statement as it is consistent with basic theoretical physics. To what extent does this factor offset the proposed "lack of volume" of the newly formed ice sheets? Anybody got any math on this?
