Strange phenomenon or genetic mutation?

Glamorous or not that's hawt!!!

I would top it to see how it splits and yes cloning it should retain the trait indefinitely.
I did top it...split three ways instead of two!! Then I smashed and bent those three tops and tied them down. Currently praying for the cuttings to root!! :) Thanks for stopping by!

Well won't it give me an indication of what my root zone pH is, which will tell me if they are even able to utilize what I give them?
My first TRY my root zone was extremely acidic from all the chemicals...lol...they were like BOMBS in pots!!
no..........

Oh...ok...thanks Woody, now I understand so much better!! :)
you dont need to understand.........checking the ph of runoff is dumb........ my point is that youre not getting an accurate reading of anything..........even if you did learn something from this youre not gonna change the ph in the pot by pouring something different in.....takes time......

I have lime in my soil...shouldn't that keep it stable? What DO I need to do? Let it ride? I just transplanted Saturday. Should I even be concerned?

I do check pH going in...and I wasn't planning on another transplant really. Thinking I'd go ahead and flower once I know I've successfully cloned the triploid. I want to keep them short all three are below 10 inches from soil line to top of plant...

Hmmm...your gonna force me to upgrade lights aren't you?!?! I like the way you think...I'll be taking more cuttings this evening! The other clones didn't make it...think I got it this time though!!

I only started checking my runoff last week. Mine is around 6.2 most of the time. My water is 7.14 out of the faucet and I do not adjust it. I simply add the correct amount of terra vega/flores, cannazym, Rhizotonic, boost and pk 13/14 at the right times. Every now and then I get some stress and adjust accordingly. I will check it every now and then just to see if the ppm's are not to hot. I recently stopped growing in water due to the extreme amount of work involved with keeping the ph and ppm's where they need to be. After 3 grows in water along side of soil, the soil wins.

You are using cfl's aren't you? I use four 4 foot florescent's for vegging and had been using the same for flower up till a month ago when I picked up a 600 watt hps/mh cool tube. What a difference!! Doubled the daily growth!! I am going to pick up another 600 for the flower room and a 400 for vegging and see how much I can cut the grow time.

Could you control the temps in your closet if you ran a 400 watt ballast?http://www.amazon.com/Apollo-Horticulture-GLK600CT24E-Digital-Dimmable/dp/B00521B894/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=GLI85L6N7FCG&coliid=I1QGOXA5O07OH0&psc=1

Click the 400 watt tab and check the low price...

To be honest...I'm more concerned about the heat a better light setup would produce. I still don't have any kind of exhaust setup and I'm not THAT handy. Last time I used a screwgun I broke a nail ;)

Controlling temps is a huge concern. I've been thinking about an air cooling unit but exhaust would still be an issue with that type of heat I'm afraid?

It really wasn't that funny...I had JUST had them done!!!

I use a 240 cfm inline fan with my cool tube. Without the fan it would get pretty warm in there. I also have an A/C for summer time. Have you looked into the mini split a/c?

Sorry. I meant portable! A mini split would be way to much for a closet. It would be a condenser unit inside and a compressor outside.

Ok...so we are on the same page!! I've been looking at the one in the link in above post...but I still need to do something about an exhaust if I want to continue doing this...at this point I find it absolutely INTOXICATING and can't imagine NOT growing...
