OoooooooooooooK, so apparently some folks were not amused by this thread. For the record (do NOT call the FBI and bring attention here), I don;t even have a niece. It's all a charade. Go home folks, nothing to see here.

you seem scared. bahahahahahahaahahaha

Clayton you got me on this one. I can't stand a pretty young thing with tats on the neck.
I refused to hire someone because of a neck tattoo. I had a cell phone store on the outskirts of a city, not quite the 'burbs, but a nice area. Anyway, I didn't think "get money" on the neck would be very endearing or motivate people to trust the young man to actually give him money.

It's funny how people want others to respect their self expression except when that self expression actually gives you insight to them. Then it's prejudice. Almost everyone agrees with my scenario when that tattoo is a swastika though. Funny huh?

I'm a fan of tattoos and even have a few and I'd never get one on the neck. Or face. .. IMO, it's pretty much an fu to society as your never going to get or hold any kind of real job..
Not a fan of tatt on the hands either, but only because I don't like how they look..

I agree. I like tattoos, I have a few. A couple buddies have them on their neck and face. They are also tattoo artists, and a self employed motorcycle mechanic. They work for those guys. A daycare worker with face tattoo, not so much.

Lol years ago I worked at tower records.. this kid got a tattoo on his neck.. I thought it was a bit extreme at the time and what does he do now? He's a tattoo artist, lol..
If you're lucky enough to do what you love for a living, ie, pro skate boarder, pro musician, motorcycle mechanic, tattoo artist, etc, etc, than by all means tattoo your penis if it makes you happy, bit if you're like the other 90% of the population, not so much..

That's exactly it, it depends what you plan on doing with your life.

I have one friend with two full sleeves, he's in a band.. that's cool.

Another friend with like 23 tats, including neck, wrists... he works in a deli. He also got all of his tats in the last year, all meaningless shit like stars, skulls and band names/references. That's another thing that bothers me, meaningless tattoos just for the sake of having them.

Agreed, ink just for the sake of ink is stupid IMHO.
I've got 6 large ones - a 1/2 sleeve included & they are all done by talented professionals. Being that I designed them all, they have meaning beyond a simple picture.

I understand the "Ink fever" thing and catch it myself occasionally, but if it ain't worth looking at for the next XX years I'll have it done in Sharpy.

Nothing I hate more than bad ink.. not so much bad designs as that's more of a personal thing as what I like you may not,.. I mainly mean poorly done tattoos, regardless of designs .. uvggh.. such a pet peeve of mine it's not even funny..
IMO, if you're going to get any ink, research it and find the best artist in your area.. the price you pay for a well done tattoo is more than worth it..
Anyone seen this show called bad ink on a&e yet? They do cover ups mostly .. thing is I can't figure out.if the name of the show, bad ink, refers to the tattoos they're covering, or the ones they're doing as this dude is awful imo.. funny thing is people are all happy after he's done.. guess they don't have a clue what well done ink should look like..
