Washington (CNN) -- Nearly 500,000 people have filled out applications for Obamacare coverage despite the highly publicized problems with online sign-ups, administration officials told CNN Saturday.
"The website is unacceptable, and we are improving it," one senior administration official said. "But the underlying insurance product is good, and across the country people are getting access to affordable care on January 1."

has there ever been a point in time where you weren't completely angry?
Well, im not angry now... Watching you two mental deficients wank on about your furher and his overtly shit healthcare is like watching hobos fight over scraps of dumpster food...

You two might actually think you're getting a good deal, but to those of us with half a brain it's obvious you're fighting over garbage...

And how many were supposed to be signed up in this time frame? Ah. Way more. The cost estimates for this thing were based on the assumption that a certain number of people would sign up and pay the premium instead of paying the fee.

Democrats should be feeling very nervous about 2014. If people don't sign up and the costs balloon, the midterm could very well be fought and won on this issue. The shutdown will be a distant memory, and Republicans will stand up and say "We tried to kill this thing in October but Obama wouldn't budge--help us kill it now!"

people that sigh up for it have little or no money. they have nothing at all . so nothing is better then nothing , wrong. good luck getting any tests done at the doctor with that total bs insurance. they will NOT work for free at the doctors. they put Obama care in last place. rather have some body with a real insurance or cash . not some body with a 10 thousand deductible . so basically the doctor is expected to work for free. wrong. they will send you out or throw you out into the street . or demand you come up with the 10 grand up from fro testing. GOOD LUCK WITH THE OBAMA BULL SHIT INSURANCE. that will raise the rates of insurance . so we can not afford a quality policy. every body sigh up now. and wait . your going to see it will not do you any good at the doctors or unless you sigh up for a good insurance. on your own. ow by the way It will cost you double. every body has to have insurance or get fined . the insurance companies know this. RAISE THE RATES . ass holes. Obama care should have set rates no deductible , every body in the us has the same insurance . same cost for every body no matter the health issues of a person. this would be a good insurance. so bill every body 100 a month for dental and medical and medicine. insurance companies would be making very good money . people would have very good health care. but they will nottt do it like this. no way no how. because my way works. there way will not .

So is that less than .6% of the population of the US? Damn, I figured more people would have signed up by now!

edit: I'm not a huge fan of the A.C.A. Myself, but seriously guys, it passed so let's carry on. The world is not going to end. Just my .02.

I just looked at oregons enrollment of Obama care and they say 56,000 have successfully signed up. And then later in the same article it says they sent out pre qualified notices to 260,000 food stamp people to tell them to sign up because it's free...So 56,000 thats a good number, Now we need to hear about how many paying people have sign up. I think they are embarrassed right now , but they will have to spit it out someday...or maybe they will be exercising there constitutional right to take the fifth.....

I dont think it is free for anyone...

It is the ability to sign up and pay for insurance or pay a penalty.

Chesus, you're great, but you gotta stop being such a cheerleader for Obamacare. This isn't singlepayer healthcare. It's the government forcing people to do business with the same companies who denied them care when they needed it. It's a right wing idea.

I agree with everything you say

Blame that republican Joe Lieberman for us not gettting single payer. Medicare expansion would of been way easier to implement
