Why haven't African Americans assimilated into American culture...?

but when you look at it based on poverty rates, it makes a lot of sense, since poverty rates are about triple.

if i want to avoid crime, i avoid the poor part of town, no matter what the skin color of its residents.

the stats bear this out far more than anything that you think you proved.

how can you prove a vague, crude stereotype?

do you even know what proof means?

how the hell do you prove your own racially resentful stereotype?

you really have no idea what proof is.

the only thing you've proven is that you have not a goddamn clue about what proof is.

SES is an explanation, not an excuse.

the "black rage" defense didn't even get used and has never worked and will never work, and that's by the very citation that you posted.

what you think you have proven is meaningless and laughable.

citation STILL needed, retard.
why should i bother citing anything, you dont read the material presented, and instead attack the source, even if the source is unimpeachable, like say... the FBI crime reports.

Poverty increases the prevalence of crime but even amongst the lowest strata of economic and social development, blacks commit more crime then anyone else in the same situation.

even Beefbisquits' citation demonstrated that at the same "SES" level blacks still fail at preparing their kids for school, and the reporting agency's solution was racially targeted programs... but thats not racist because it discriminates against poor whites, who are of course a perfectly acceptable group for leftist discrimination.

there IS a fundamental problem in Black Society, and i believe it is caused by leftists' attempts to solve the problem, with predictable results.

the leftist machine tells blacks they are victims, not responsible for their own actions, offers them more and more "reparations" in the form of more and more government handouts which breeds more entitlement mentality, and increases the failure rate by reinforcing the behaviour which gets more free handouts.

this is non-controversial, even Tony Brown, Tavis Smiley and many well respected socilogists recognize the problem, but discussing the endless cycle of poverty-handouts-more poverty-more handouts is declared racist by those like you who have been taught that this is the only way to make amends for "250 Years of White Oppression", and i believe this message has been crafted deliberately by unscrupulous leftists who gain power over the Black Community by controlling their economic and social development for their own ends.

I, and many others believe that this is a massive social experiment designed to ensure a captive underclass who will always vote for the leftists who will always deliver more handouts.

the referenced citation of "Black Rage" was just ONE EXAMPLE of a defense crafted by two highly skilled and powerful attorneys. the fact that the defendant decided to ignore their sage advice (which could have worked) in that case and hang himself on the gibbet of his own crazy conspiracy theories is irrelevant. there have been many "SES Made Me Do It" defenses, including Ruichard Alan Davis' failed attempt to claim he was oppressed based on his mexican-ness (and then his Native American-ness despite no tribe having any record of his membership) Davis' lawyers then switched to a "Being Sent To Prison Made Me Do It" defense which is the same "SES" defense re-worked for use by a non-minority.

your internal bias and pavlovian training results in your inability to recognize any problem unless it is accompanied by the appropriate bell ringing (a leftist says it) or visual cues (it criticizes conservatives or whites).

you are really quite sad.

as predicted completely devoid of substance.

the choice that dead racist made to confront a man
not established.

also, citation needed.

doing his job
if by his job you mean neighborhood watch, then no. following and being armed are not part of the neighborhood watch job.

instead of going home
why does martin need to go home and not zimmerman?

and informing his parent - term used loosely...
devoid of substance.

Look up the term self defence as zimmermans jury thought it was self defence
they thought that there was the possibility of self defense, actually.

look up how the law works.

not manslaughter
actually, half of them initially thought it was manslaughter or murder.

*
otherwise the verdict would've been different and you wouldn't be so perpetually butthurt...
another statement devoid of any substance, although it does demonstrate your misunderstanding of the law.

kynes telling someone to "look up the FBI crime statistics" is on par with a rawn pawl supporter telling someone to "open their eyes" and "wake up" because they are a "sheeple".

simply looking at the crime statistics is meaningless, except to drive home the narrative that black people are just inherently scarier somehow and a threat to non-blacks, victimizing them endlessly.

when it comes time to explain those statistics, he will reject all known reasons, label them as excuses, and blame "black culture" and "black society", driving home the narrative that black people all just did it to themselves (probably because they are inherently scary, just look at the statistics). rappers and reverends seem to be favorite, ad nauseum repeated targets of his.

just for good measure, when it comes to any discussion of those statistics, his lies, blatant and subtle, will all be in one direction: in the direction of black people being scarier, and whites being more victimized.

this is just his writing style i guess, because the dude tells me he's totally not racist.*

Is "wake up and open your eyes" just like "it's not Obamas fault, that was Dubyas policy" or "global warming will kill us all, republicans are to blame"?

Oh so the essence of your post is FBI statistics are racist... Cool story brosef...

in california the city of oakland tried to institute an "Afro-Centric mathematics" curriculum, at the same time the Ebonics flap was going on, but it failed miserably since anyone with a brain knows numbers dont change their shape based on your "SES", even with "250 Years of White Oppression".

the lefties have been pushing their ignorant and failed agenda for 50 years now, and even though it keeps failing, they keep pushing it. the only rational conclusion is:

The lefty agenda is NOT failing. It is getting exactly the results desired.

even when their "programs" are demonstrated to be a failure, and a working solution is proved, the lefties refuse to accept that their plans are not working, and USUALLY they destroy the person who proves their agenda is flawed.

i can only think of ONE GUY who was able to demonstrate that leftist programs suck, provide a working alternative based on personal responsibility and hard work who was not pilloried as a racist and run out of town on a rail, and thats Jaime Escalante.

he got kids in a shit school to work hard, taught them math in a way that works for EVERYBODY (despite the "SES" claims) and proved his way was better.

i guess he is fortunate he was a chicano, otherwise he would have been a racist, not the subject of a movie starring James Earl Jones. ;-)

i..."SES"..."250 Years of White Oppression".
why do you put these things into quotes as if to signal their dubiousness?*

the latter one i can understand, as someone mentioned about those exact words earlier, but the former is not dubious. and neither is the latter.

are you in too much self-denial right now to recognize that the cycle of poverty does exist, and is not attributable to these bolshevist marxist socialist communist leftists you do often go on about in a sea of purple prose?

i bet you even think that these trains in california will be bringing you to FEMA camps and michelle obama's message to stay hydrated is really some plot to fluoride us all into singular mindset submission to multiculturalism (lest those trains take us to the FEMA gulag).

everyday i thank my lucky stars that birchers like you are here to save me from this wretched multiculturalism and warn us of these fluoride hazards that plaque us so.

Hey now, Chinese method math has some nifty tricks. I want to hear more about this black math method. Because apparently those like P Diddy learned it well.

Sorry man, but we are now seeing 4th generation cradle to grave welfare. This would lead normal people to conclude that our methods to eradicate poverty are the minimum not working and worse case they are doing the opposite of intended.

If it makes you feel better to blame republicans for this, it's cool. When lefist policies are blamed, lefties dig in their heels, so go ahead and blame righties. As long as you realize there is a problem we can begin to identify it. Once the problem is truly identified (why are 4 generations living cradle to grave?) we can work on solutions. There is a caveat though, we can't believe doing more of the same is the solution.

Whats funny is how everyone talks about welfare, whilst everyone has their hand out. You say free shit and EVERYONE comes running. We have a member here who constantly bitches about welfare...only because he was kicked off. People complaining about welfare whilst they want or get it, receiving some kind of kick back from the government. Can you say EITC.

From politicians to working stiffs EVERYONE is looking for a "hand-out". I myself took full advantage of 100 percent expensing with the Obama admin. Took a nice grant too for some solar projects for work and home as well.

because they are slogans, with no meaning beyond their hyper-emotional subtext.

the latter one i can understand, as someone mentioned about those exact words earlier, but the former is not dubious. and neither is the latter.
because nobody (especially yourself} has shouted "SES" in this thread...

are you in too much self-denial right now to recognize that the cycle of poverty does exist, and is not attributable to these bolshevist marxist socialist communist leftists you do often go on about in a sea of purple prose?
sure, the cycle of poverty is real, rich people dont send their kids to public schools, and even the "Middle Class" (the real Middle Class, not the leftist Newspeak re-branding of the Working Class), when they do send their kids to public schools, hire tutors and pedagogues to teach their kids all the shit the public schools fail at

i bet you even think that these trains in california will be bringing you to FEMA camps and michelle obama's message to stay hydrated is really some plot to fluoride us all into singular mindset submission to multiculturalism (lest those trains take us to the FEMA gulag).
these "Trains in California" are a boondoggle. a public works project which will not serve the actual needs of the public, we dont need intercity trains we need intra-city public transit to serve the actual poor, and let them actually get to a job without having to buy, insure, register repair and fuel a car, and which might actually reduce traffic congestion. california cities have the crappiest public transit systems ever devised, even san francisco's BART system is shit. it serves the downtown corridor, and outlying bedroom communities, not the actual people who actually need to get to work in the city they actually live in.

Example: in new york many people simply do not own a car. they can use the city buses and the subway for all their needs, and only after the city's transportation needs are met can yout start thinking about tourist trains and long distance intercity transit.
in california, you MUST have a car, even if your life is lived in a single city with no "Commuting"
even los angeles with it's notorious urban sprawl is trying to build a subway system and other public transit (which they used to have long ago) , but when all the cash is funneled away to build a commuter train so the good folks in Gilroy and Modesto can get a government subsidized ride to hollywood or fisherman's wharf, then something is very wrong.

everyday i thank my lucky stars that birchers like you are here to save me from this wretched multiculturalism and warn us of these fluoride hazards that plaque us so.
and right back to your assumption that i must stand in the rain shouting at the clouds over fluoride simply because it serves your narrative.

the truth is i dont care much about fluoride, but if i get a vote on it i always vote NO because it's stupid, hypocritical, and shortsighted.

you really dont have anything but shabby ad hominem attacks and whinging about HOW someone writes rather than the facts at hand.

so very very sad.

No doubt, I love me some free shit too. I don't think loving free stuff is what's wrong though.

I believe that when someone needs help, if we are able, we should help. I also prescribe the teach a man to fish over give the man a fish method. I would much rather see a welfare to work program where we offer technical/clerical/machinist/welding etc training with the caveat that you have a lifetime cap on benefits. I just don't agree with how we do things now. If a man wants to work and goes to the welfare office today, he's not given job prospects, he's advised and assisted b in using the government for sustenance by workers who are explicitly trained in this "solution". I don't believe this is the best method and only leads to even more dependency, the exact opposite of what we want. There really is no longer a stigma in food stamps like there once was and if I'm better off economically not working, it's an easy choice.

I agree. What exactly does welfare do other than feed a person for a day?

If we can't teach people to do it themselves over time, then whats the point?

I thought the "point" was to provide a base platform (albeit, fragile) which allows one to "do it themselves". But what is it ?
Can you define it for me? It's too vague of a term considering it is a pronoun.
