The average citizen pays nowhere near 50%. Minimum wage workers usually pay nothing at all, most get a check. You rant like you're deranged.

That is the point. If you are poor enough you already qualify for medicaid.

So if you are not poor enough for medicaid it is simply another tax you must pay if you dont pay for health insurance or have it paid for you through your employer.

Here is the reality of it. Obama wanted universal healthcare. 80% of people were happy with what they had. Until the apple cart was tipped over and something was done to make nearly everyone UNHAPPY with the situation he could not get what he wanted.

So now premiums are skyrocketing, we have over 11 million words to describe how to enact this monstrosity of a bill and therefore NOBODY understands it. It is more complex than the IRS laws and therefore just as subject to interpretation. The website doesnt work and the president tells you to call the 800 number where they advise you that you cannot sign up over the telephone unless you have created an account online and BTW, the site is going to be down for a minimum of 2 days...

The president states that the healthcare is good although nobody has gotten any of it yet. He also states that the rates are good although research shows the overwhelming majority of cases will have rates going up by 60% or more and in some cases more than 100%.

The sad part is that there are quite possibly millions of people who are too uneducated or uninformed that actually believe all the hype...

World of Warcraft can put out a gaming platform with thousands of people in real-time and it is steady and stable but the government after spending well over 1/2 a billion dollars cannot get a simple website where people fill in information boxes working correctly.

The whole thing is designed to make us so unhappy that universal one size fits all government healthcare looks good by comparison....
