For dinner: shrimp, corn, edamame and barley risotto

For desert: homemade sweet potato pie, I did not make this a friend did

Pork sirloin rolled roast cooked on my old Ron Popiel show-time rotisserie, with a rub of garlic, dry mustard,Lawrys seasoning salt, and cayenne pepper. Hash brown casserole with home made hashbrowns and home frozen Nebraska sweet corn. Desert was homemade Strawberry ice cream out of my little pint size ice cream freezer, followed by a big bong full of LA Confi. Life is better today than my usual rushed schedule. Peace & be kind.

2 para that looks lovely, great colours. i bet it's a delicate game risotto with shrimps in.

I've been putting barley in loads of things lately, it's a great filler. cheap and good winter food.

tonight the plan was caramelised butternut squash & gammon risotto but the gf is at the mo'laws so, i'll probably eat poached egg on toast  i can never be arsed to cook nice stuff for 1.

I've been favoring barley lately as well, been substituting it for most all dishes I make that may call for rice
No offence but it looks like a pile of hurl to me.
Sometimes it's hard to present great tasting food.
The pie looked super!
Yes, the pie was very good. The risotto was a bit salty but still tasted great, though I am not the biggest fan of shrimp my pal loves the stuff. As for the presentation, it was just dinner with a friend so we put the stuff in a pot and stirred :p Its not puke I promise >.<

My own interpretation of chicken and cashew nuts with steamed rice. Chicken, peppers, onion, mooli, shitake and oyster mushrooms, and pak choi. Scrummy :)

again probably looks like barf but tasted amazing. was weird cooking all three main bits separately. didn't want the saltiness to overpower the sweet worked well.

tonight: thai green curry
