ADG's first micro grow

@mewk- thanks for stopping in dude. She sure has come a long way. I gotta admit seeing your first pc grow really inspired me to do this one using a few of your ideas. So far so good.

@pomp- its not wire just thread like you would use for sewing. But the reason for having it is to train the plant under until the canopy is to the growers liking its the same concept as lst. Only tieing the string from side to side of the pot rather than the plant itself.
 
So today is the day I mske the switch and they look good. Well besides all the burnt leaves that grew into the lights but no harm done to future budsites so im not going to worry to much about that. Not really sure how long this strain is going to take but I do have its mother in flowering. Its been in there for 2 weeks so I should have a good idea when peak harvest is when the time comes.

Just a question: Do you believe that cutting some of the severely damaged leaves would help the plant?
Not talking about the leaves that are green and have a bit of yellow on them..

So we've finally hit the 2 week mark hopefully most of the stretching is over with as week 3 starts.
When I went to check on her this morning I noticed in 24 hrs she had grown over 2 inches as she was touching the bulbs again. Luckily no major damage was done and it wasn't near as bad as last time. Guess I need to keep a better eye on her for this coming up week as she finshes growing upwards. You might notice some yellow power on 1 of the buds not sure how well this camera captured that but anyways I tried to pollinate 2 budsites with some lemon kush pollen that I had collected. Hopefully it takes and even if it doesn't the mother looks full of seeds anyways from the same cross.

:joint: you got that right. So next grow I do in this box is definitely gonna be a scrog I think it would benefit the way I have my light set up more. Not 100% sure how ima attack it but but I have 2 different styles in mind.
 
Check out my little grow. I made 2 little DIY smart pots in a wire cage. This way I can basically LST into a scrog shape. So far it works. But its only 1.5 sq' too.....

I like everyone's screen idea [reku!] but usually they have to be attached and I just went with the lazier style and it worked.

Micro's are addicting....good growing :peace:




I have a few self made S1's from late 2012. It's hella fun. ...and thanks for reminding me I need to pop em'....see what I get, hopefully they femmed, because my mystery stock is all FEM....

@ abiqua-ill look into that. For my micro grows i will most likely not attach the screen to the pot.

OK so it's day 30 and they are finally focusing on bud making instead of getting taller not really much to report on

@spanky- best thing to do is do the research. still no clue how much she will yield but if it's around an ounce I'm happy.
