Hi! do you have fans at all? Where is all the air going to be exhausted to? If smell might be an issue for you then you should try to have that figured out before flowering anything. Things are looking nice so far! :bigjoint: You should get something very nice with that setup.

I like how you started off with a good light.

My area and light is very similar to yours. What I did was cut a circular hole in the ceiling of the closet and ran an inline fan blowing the heat up into the attic. Right now I have a DIY carbon filter attached to the inline fan blowing into the attic. I added two holes in the low section of the door and attached a computer fan on each hole to blow air into the closet. So holes in the door bring air in, inline fan with filter blowing into attic.

I covered the holes in the door with a register louvre.
Similar to this.

You might want to put a piece of wood under your ballast so it doesn't sit on the carpet.
Good luck

i dont have an attic. i was going to do what you did with the intake for both the exhaust and the intake. use what you used to cover the in take holes on the bottom of the door and one above it for the exhaust but im not sure what to use to make a well connected exhaust to one of those

There is a company called Master Flow that makes all kinds of ducting and fixtures which are sold at homedepot, sears etc. I would google image search "Master Flow Register Box" it will show all kinds of fixtures and related so you can get an idea on what you need.

I was planning on using this then covering with another louvre to put at the top of the door to exaust.

Good luck, the main thing is that you have a decent light. With your plant being so young you can kind of wing it for a while. I wasted a lot of money messing around with cfl bulbs at first, finally after spending near 100.00 on cfl bulbs, splitters, cords etc I just decided to buy a real grow light.

Thanks brotha that is actually the exact thing I needed and was looking for. For my exhaust. I wasn't sure if they made something like that. What size inline fan should I be using? When I do get a carbon filter.

Hi There, Just wanna try to help

I saw the picture, is that a carpet?
i wouldn't use a carpet, cause it's saved dust, and bactery, i would cover it with trash plastic bag, i would be better

use a fan, for a wind, and exhaust for the air exchange

you can use pc cooling fan.

:)

I use a 4 inch inline fan. They have 6,8,10 etc but I went with the 4 because the drill bit, called a hole saw, is easier to work with imo. I can also use the 4 inch saw for holes when making DWC hydro tanks. Just convenience really.

You probably won't need a carbon filter for a month or perhaps 7 weeks but if possible, sooner is better than later. I got all my stuff off ebay. Stay away from those cheap 30 dollar inline "booster" fans, they don't work.

I did get this pretty cheap off ebay and it's buzzes right through doors making a perfect circle for your fans etc. Wide selection of sizes and it's cheap but works.

yeah i planned on getting my scrog ready this week. then start gathering the things i need to set up the filter next week. i also want it to help reduce my heat cause my max temp is 85 it never gets hotter then that but i feel as if the carbon filter would help drop it down to a nice 78 or some where around there. what is the cfm on your inline fan?

Mine is 160 cfm. It will definitely reduce the heat, I'm in a very warm region and my temps could get to 97 or so without the fan and down to mid/low 80's with it.

I'm always running in the 80's and don't have a problem with soil grows. (hydro requires ice bottles in the reservoir every so often which is a pain)

Take care
