Daaaang that looks great tip

I had some pork today as well. See, my Thanksgiving didn't exactly go according to plan. My Grandfather couldn't make it out of the old folks home, so my family went to him. His place had a meal planned, but the food they served us was kinda shitty. While the holiday is about getting together with family and friends, for my family at least, its also about some good food. Some cousins and I decided to invite everybody over here telling them we would cook them a proper meal. A bunch of people couldn't show up but some did, and we ate pretty well.

For dinner we had a striper fillet topped with roasted garlic and red peppers, a pork tenderloin, some sweet potatoes topped with a crust of pecans and brown sugar, corn, and broccoli

For desert we only made these little cheesecake bite things, we aren't too big on sweets :eyesmoke:

Got to try some sweetpotatoes and marshmallow and all that crazy stuff you americans do with it. Not sure how it would go down with the family. stir fry is about the only opportunity i get to have meat and fish on the same plate.

Dinner tonight, well it might be breakfast in the morning. Only just got it into the bottom of the aga 5 minutes ago. Had some diced beef to use up so threw beef, whole shallots, carrot, cellery, and potatoes in a pot with some cherry tomatoes, fried it all off with smoked paprika and then because why not, threw about 200ml of whiskey in for good measure :) Looking forward to it :) 5pm now, so probably be ready around 2am or so :( so if i get peckish, dinner is gonna be fried lambs liver on toast with garlic and rosemary mayo.

Man, it seems that, especially the asian dishes in those boxes and cans....are always shit. One time, no lie, I opened a can of stuff that was supposed to be stirfry or something. The person I was with almost threw up just from the smell. It was fresh from the grocery store but obviously years old or something. It was disgusting....one of the worst things I have ever smelled. I wont ever forget that hahah

What is brown gravy?

And that wellington looks amazing!

I just had 5 scrambled eggs with grated cheddar and lamb liver doused in tommy k. It is questionable to say the least, i don't think it helped that the livers were turning.
