Hey earl, what causes the first leaves on a seedling to turn gray. It started on the tip of the leaf and continued down towards the stem. Help would be greatly appreciated.

I have 2 4ft flouros(40watts,5000k,96cri each) and 2 42 watt cfl's. is this enough lighting for 1 plant during the veg state or should i use my 150 watt HPS which is on its way for both veg+flower, Any help would be awsome.
