Thank you! I'm not opposed to using a different soil, I have just read that it was supposed to be a good soil with nutrients, so that it why I purchased it. :)

I water very slowly till I get the least little bit of runoff. I thought that was how you were supposed to do it. And let dry out until you water again.

I have 5 gallon pots I can use if needed. I just don't want to screw these up.

1 part perlite to 4 parts soil
