Bro I don't blame you. Considering the same it's just the leccy bill that will suffer haha. Its meant to drop 10 degrees here by next week so hoping I've timed it right and these girls ride out their mid/late flow in more reasonable temps. Peaked 35c when my lights flicked on today!
4x4 tent, partly insulated in loft, drawing air in from living space downstairs, venting through eves. Plenty of airflow in there, have been defoliating quite heavily too to try lower RH. Running two large homemade SIPs which is where the humidity issue is coming from I think. First time using...
As the title says, anyone had/has success running in high temps and high humidity in flower? Temps are around 30c lights on 28 lights off. Humidity sitting between 60/70. Got good airflow and plants seem happy, just worried about major terp loss
Mines topping 32c lights on overnight, pretty consistent 28/30 during the day (lights off) meant to cool next week I hope! 2nd week of flower hoping they're nice and cool in time to save those precious terps
I could set mine with an off speed of 1 and an on of 10. If I have a threshold of 27 and it hits 30 degrees my fan would only run at speed 4 (not the ON speed setting) if I have a threshold set of one
Mate this honestly looks like you have a transition set up of 1. Go to port settings and change the numbers on this page to zero. You have your off speed as zero which is no problem. But if you have a transition set, then it will only move up one speed per degree above the limit. So for example...
And you've got your minimum set to zero? Odd that it's only running at 3. Have you tweaked the port settings? Can set transitions so it will go up or down in smaller increments rather than jumping right up. Could be you have too large a transition
When they're in full swing, I'll have my high set at 27c with no low setting. It speeds up to my high speed when triggered, and slows to 3 when below it
Hmmm. Do you have the low temp switched off? If you're using this to keep temps down and RH down then no need to have the low setting switched on. Ignore the temp and humidity I'm currently drying. If you look in the bottom left I've got mine set to 3 minimum which goes up to 4 if the humidity...
You can also set it to gradually increase in speed as temperatures rise. I have mine set to increase one speed setting each unit of temperature over the limit it rises
Do you have your fan pulling air IN to the tent rather than out? From your description that's what it sounds like to me? Please correct me if I'm wrong. You also ideally want to be pulling in cool air from lower vents, and them exhausting out the top using your extraction fan. I've got the same...
