I would second upping the temp as 68 seems rather cool to try cloning. I would think more like 75-78. That should hasten any development should it be primed for growth.

Haha, me too. I think a lot of people are like that when they first start out growing and gardening, especially cannabis. Hell, i still go in and look at them a lot, but instead of watering or fertilizing, i look at where they are at and observe instead. I understand i am going to make mistakes...

I'd just leave it alone. The way it is currently is, isnt hurting anything and it will eventually fall off. If for some reason it was keeping leaves shut then that would be a problem you'd want do something about. Usually some misting with water and some tweezers does the trick.

I thought the same thing, that's why I phrased it like a question. Something similar happen to me and my plant grew exactly like this, of course there could be multiple causes but I thought it was a weird coincidence. If the light is being absorbed by this particular plant, it may be possible...
