Can you dry weed in one of these ?

I read a thread some years ago on grasscity forum about drying under vacuum. general consensus was it's a bad idea, because under vacuum the trichs burst. That could all be BS, and it's above my pay grade. I'd suggest putting one bud in there, running it under vacuum then pulling the bud out and...

    New Samsung LM301H

Bump again... I'm even more suspicious now... check out page 6 of the 301b and 301h datasheets. the flux range for each flux bin for both chips is the same. also the spectral distribution charts on page 13 are identical. Am I missing something...

    New Samsung LM301H

Bump! I see this thread's old now, but I was wondering if anyone's seen a product running the LM301h yet? I compared the data sheets from samsung and call me cynical if you will but I got the feeling samsung had taken note of how many people are using LM301b based horticultural lights and pretty...

pretty sure these are thrips, how bad are they?

Hi all, I think I've found some thrip damage. Can someone confirm that's what they are? Do they need to be dealt with and how urgently? There are hardly any of them, plants are Autos in week 3. Photos taken under microscope.

    Are pests really that common?

That question is impossible to answer mate. I can tell you my experiences though. You've already got fungus gnats, so you'll have them forever unless you switch to hydro. You've had spider mites, so depending on how recently you had them you may well still have the odd one getting round and...

    Nanners!!!

You've got balls brother. Pick the nanners off if you want, but remember you only have to miss one and you'll end up with seed everywhere. You might even get a male flower form undetected deeper inside a bud if you try that. I'd pull the ones showing male flowers and let the rest keep going.

Best wire for lm301b QB build

i've made 4 fittings with lm401b strips (QB22a). I found the best thing to do is just use the same wire you buy in long rolls for wiring houses. I use 1mm2 stuff - don't know what that is in AWG but it's good for 10 amps. just as long as it's hard drawn wire or solid core you're golden. don't...

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

Thanks for all your replies folks. I used a home brew version of liquid fence and used dog and human urine around the boundaries. also used wire mesh to obstruct the routes animals would have used to enter the area. sat up there with a rifle and a spot light for nights on end and never heard any...

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

I'd love to fence it, I've actually got an electric fence controller - the problem is this site is exposed enough as it is and I'm worried about do gooders spotting it. this shit is still illegal in my little corner of the world.

how to raise soil ph over a large area?

howdy. I have noticed what appears to be a calcium def on a 2000sqft site I'm running. growing autos and they are in week 9 from germination. this strain runs about 13 weeks to finish and they are just beginning to fatten up so time is of the essence. checked soil ph and it is around PH5. can...

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

they're not eating the weed. the goats sometimes nip off a top cola though. the problem with the deer is this buck is huge and he's walking around the grow site at night browsing all the new grass and stepping on the occasional plant. they're autos and they only grow about 12"-15" high and they...

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

I shoot one deer a year, maybe two if my family over the hill wants some venison. If the freezer was full I wouldn't be stalking this buck. I'd never shoot a deer just purely to keep it from getting into a crop.

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

.300AAC suppressed bolt action with a 220 grain cast pill does the trick without alerting everyone for two miles, but a big old springfield would be nice to add to the gun safe :)

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

That sounds like the good stuff. There's only one retailer in my country and they are drop shipping from the USA for $115 for 5lbs. Goddamned expensive. good news is like you said the manufacturers website says it's all just eggs and garlic with a bit of surfactant and some DE in the granular...

Anyone know a good deer repellent?

As the title suggests, wild deer are starting to make an appearance and I need the best deer repellent money can buy or that man can make. I'm currently relying on bullets, which although the best deer repellent in existence is quite labor intensive as it involves sitting there all night. I have...

    Good strains for guerilla grows?

I have grown critical kush also, but to be honest wouldn't recommend it for an outdoor stealth grow. it just stinks too bad and takes forever to grow. the quality is amazing though. autos are great for guerrilla grows, at least in my little corner of the universe because it's still a crime here...

    Good strains for guerilla grows?

auto mendo mass is excellent, i put in 1000 of them 5 weeks ago (southern hemisphere) at a planting density of 9 per sqm. now they are about 40-50cm high and starting to fatten up. odour is quite low, you need to be 15 meters or closer to smell them and it's a fruity smell, if you didn't know it...

diatomaceous earth, does it work wet?

I got a couple bags of diatomaceous earth to knock down fungus gnats, just cause they were cheap and to help the sticky traps deal with the little buggers. but upon application it is picking up a bit of moisture from the soil. will it still work? does it really work even when it's dry?
