    Reeferator

I appreciate the compliment! I hope others see this project and can use it to make their own versions and build upon it. This unit makes growing possible regardless of climate or living space. Completely silent, stealthy and unassuming. With excellent insulation it can cool itself with no...

    Climate controlled grow fridge

Mixed up a fresh batch of soup the other day. R.O water 8ppm before 450ppm after nutes Think it was a bit hot, plants showed some burnt tips, diluted it down to 310ppm hopefully it fixed it. Perhaps it's some other problem, been trying to diagnose excess/deficiency signs and symptoms this week...

    Climate controlled grow fridge

Yeah battling the heat being dumped into a small space from a grow light is something a fridge just can't handle. But having it mounted externally leaves the grow space isolated from that heat. Fridge was able to pull the temps down without any fuss. And having a fridge that is so well insulated...

    Climate controlled grow fridge

I was able to overcome it by mounting the light externally on the top of the fridge. So heat vents outside of the grow space. Then sealing the opening with a glass pane. Now the fridge can pull down to any temp I dial it in at. Works really well.

    Climate controlled grow fridge

I tried something like that originally and had problems with temps just slowly climbing higher and higher. Turns out the fridge, when sealed from outside air exchanges, cant pull down the constant heat output of the lights.

It's a great looking setup! Id like to get the hydroponics more balanced like yours,im still working out the kinks lol.I thought about running each side of the fridge separately at first, but I have space for another fridge so if this project works out I'll build a second fridge to house a...

    Climate controlled grow fridge

I could get something smaller, It just seemed to be the most common thing I've seen used on dwc and had a ton of tutorials. I planned in just having one plant in a 6inch netpot just to test how things go. I really like what you've done with your plant, I was wanting to try some Training methods...

    Climate controlled grow fridge

The thermostat I have installed has 2 relays. One for cold, and one for heat. After you wire it up,you set your desired temp range. If it is below the set range the heat relay turns on and a small space heater in the fridge will turn on until the temp comes back up. If te temps raise too high...
