The only time I grew in a raised bed, this happened. I was standing on raised beds when I took this photo. The beam in the center is what I tied the top of this crazy ass tree so I could bend her over. She was going to bust right through the roof of my greenhouse.

I always put mine in between 2 raised beds. Raspberries on one side , squash and beans on the other. Both provide great camouflage and aphids seem to go for the squash leaves as opposed to my ladies. I release ladybugs in August and they take care of the aphids.

So much rain so far. Can't complain too much because we had a serious drought last year and I was watering my garden with shower and bathwater. But a little more sun would be nice !
