    Twist's Tropical Indoor Garden

Yeah man this is my first pack (although I tragically lost a pack of their Jawa Pie previously) and I'm stoked with these. Hopefully they set up International shipping soon. I live outside US but I have a freight forwarding service based in Miami... maybe that's something you can look into? The...

    Lukios Secret Garden

Killer garden @lukio and your pictures are amazing... there's something about the mix of blurple and white light that makes pictures look so nice... also you're clearly a great photographer. Subbed up and loving the show my man! p.s. I am originally form the South East too, but expat now...

Exactly. Let's all smoke a bowl and get back to growing the dank

    Twist's Tropical Indoor Garden

As I remember that canopy turned out pretty good, but yielded less than I expected. The following run I switched out all the COBs for Samsung SMD strips and it ran much better. There is just not enough vertical space in that little tent to run COBs, but the diffused light of the Samsung strips...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Carry on brother. I totally hear your point and I would do the same. What I would not do is moan about missing out on stock and having to wait for the next batch whilst there are other great alternatives that have been available for a while now. It's all good. I know there is lots of hype here...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

Like I said... there are very similar alternatives that grow plants very well. If you absolutely have to wait for the current highest listed chip to be in stock then that is totally your prerogative... but please do not cry on here and lambast the creators. They are doing their best and did not...

Thanks brother :) honestly I kinda let this thread get cold a while ago, but now I guess I should resurrect it moving forwards. Thanks for the good vibes

Yeah that shipping bug must have been frustrating for sure. I think opening up preorders is a good idea. Hopefully they manage to meet demand asap. Cheers and have a good day brother bongsmilie

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I agree there is nothing wrong with that... just pointing out there's many ways to skin a cat. Folks will make there own decisions about what is important to them, but lambasting the creators of this fine product for not having supply available immediately is lame when u consider there are many...

    Twist's Tropical Indoor Garden

Yeah I love them. They can be a bit finicky if you let them dry out, but when they're running well they tend to work really well. I have learned that the need for a wet/dry cycle is not only a myth, but actually seems to hold the plants back. With Blumats I can pull 2 zips per 1Gallon pot which...

    DIY with Quantum Boards

I really didn't want to crash this fine thread, but all the people crying about board availability are just bugging the hell out of me. As nice as it is, the QB board is not magical, and there are many similar alternatives that are very effective for our purpose and actually cost less money...

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

I'm outside the US - makes sourcing materials very difficult sometimes. I did find the 1" last year, so I will find it again.

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

So far I have only been able to find 3/4" x 1/16" locally and it is not ideal. I have been running EBs on this at 1050mA and they remain below 50C with a fan nearby. I was looking for the 1" x 1/8" and I'm pretty confident that will handle 1050mA with minimal airflow needed. I should also...

I think COBs emit too much heat to be dissipated by alu angle alone.... unless they were being run mega soft.

Agreed. I'm growing in some small spaces too and the strips have made my life so much easier.
