Whatever you say man. If HID works better in your setup then all good. Mercury Vapor has a good spectrum but efficiency is terrible. You can hate on LED all you want but you're in the LED section so pretty much everyone knows you're talking out your ass. :spew:

Hahaha I think u nailed it on the head. LED haters that got burned by Mars do seem to be a real problem here sometimes.

You are confused. In reality the white LED has a much more balanced spectrum than HID. No it doesn't include UV, but that does not seem to matter as evidenced by the hundreds of people here growing dank under white LED.

I'm with Random. Sling some strips on them and add as side lighting. You can really boost your yield with some low-slung SMD strips. Cheers

OP I've read that the ratios of Cal and Mag are important too. If you're using a CalMag supplement then the ratios should in theory already be optimal, but it's something to think about. I noticed Medgrower1 is having similar issues too after switching one tray to COB LED and he has just upped...
