@noodle-led don't know if you I can answer my question but can I attach a temperature sensor like the LM35 to the proper spot on the strip to read temps?

LED Panel F-Series GEN 3 or Bridgelux EB Series Gen 2

I am a donkey, may you help me understand? Aren't 500µMoles in both cases? different heights but same result at canopy level, 1st fixture is less powerful but closer to canopy, second one is more powerful but farther away from plants. No?

I mean, it is hard to put wagos inside the tube even if it is big enough (making the fixture heavy probably). Dunno... still deciding how to build the fixture to make it clean EDIT: any problem running different Kelvin temperature together? like 3500k and 5000k in the same parallel build

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Since I want to drive my strips soft around 500mA I suppose it is not needed to use aluminium profiles as heatsinks. Because of this I thought to only use x4 L-channels to make the frame. Screws to secure strips. I love clean builds but using square tubes I would have to find longer screws and...

    Bridgelux EB Series Build

Thermal tape would be easier to manage with I think reading the thread about eb2 thermals it does seem I could be ok with a fan pointing at the strips and no aluminium profiles to mount the strips on. Like @Serva did. Atm I only have access to alu. square tubes or L shaped cause I would get...

How do you mount strips? screws only or with any thermal interface material? I saw some of you don't even use an heatsink, probably it isn't needed.

I like EB strips more cause I can get a better coverage than Samsung strips. I am just worried I am missing something... Tent will be 1.6ft(deep)*2.3ft(wide)*2.9ft and I am thinking of setup made of: HLG-120H-20B (10-20v, 6A) 12x 2ft(560mm) eb strips gen2 3500k Dim down to ±100w Probably too...

I am really limited in height and I can only fit a 3ft tent max. I still have to decide between EB strips or lm561b/c pcb from china since I am EU based, total price is similar. Probably I have to go with 12-14 (2ft) strips @0,5A max since I don't have much vertical space, I hope it is enough...

Lowest heat production for a small tent

Light does produce heat even if absorbed by the plant for photosynthesis and transpiration, it is just easier to manage and exhaust humidity through air. 1w=3,412 BTU/h or not?
