Scrubbed my pen I noticed a bit of salt build up on it. My tap water was actually 70ppm and the total mix is now 670ppm So 4g/gal of megacrop and 1g/gal of Epsom is 600ppm on 500 scale does that sound right?

It’s a bluelab one I don’t believe you can calibrate it? When you add nutrients to DWC the main bucket is only 20l but the entire system is 600l do you have to add the powder slowly to ensure they don’t react?

Ok guys I think something is going wrong with my nutrient mix. I have a starting water of 200ppm 500 scale I’ve just added 1g/gal of Epsom Salt and 4g/gal of megacrop. The resulting ppm is 470ppm on 500 scale. How on earth can 4g/gal megacrop and 1g/g Epsom be only 270ppm??

Well if you plan on using raw silica don’t - it literally is just diatomaceous earth they are literally just buying DE for 10 cents a kilo and selling it on for like 100 dollars a kilo it’s crazy

I’d say your leaves are still pale green tbh compared to nitrogen tox plants I’ve seen. How often are you res changing? And how many g per gallon of maxi bloom And calimag?

Not burn I’d say calcium def flushing would make the issue worse probably a couple other deficiencies going on along side it too Nitrogen tox would normally have much darker leaves imo plus I’m sure nitrogen effects newest leaves first What’s your ph

Are you sure it’s burn? If it is just top up more water and dilute the ppm

I was hoping more people would chime in about my thoughts on curing with the sealed sterile room. I’m not completely clued up on the science behind curing. I think I read once that during curing bacteria break down chlorophyll so if that’s true we don’t want a sterile environment

I don’t taste anything different in my weed or smell. I did a test once and put like 20 drops of lavender oil on a cotton ball and put it in a bucket of curing buds. 20 drops is a shit ton... like 10 pounds of lavender or something to make that and after 24 hours there was a tiny hint of it but...
