    The klx Way!

What would you say the issue with the leaves is on your last photo? I got that recently and couldn’t work out if it was a potassium def or nute burn. Looked a bit similar to both But my leaves looked exactly like yours with the serrated edges on sides of leaf blade browning

Wait you don’t bring in fresh air? Do you have an intake or an exhaust fan? They need co2

Red Hairs - fluffy airy bud

I’m not used to using feet just converted your numbers. Definitely you have your lights way to far away. Maybe if you had a Gavita at those distances but not single ended hps How bigs your grow space as you must be illuminating half a football pitch with them that far

Red Hairs - fluffy airy bud

You got a trimmed up shot? Hard to see your cured bud when it’s full of leaf. Usually the only time I’ve ever seen “airy” buds is when I have larf low down. From the info you’ve given only thing I can suggest is try to have the lights 24 inch away from the tops all the way through. Keep...

I don’t know if you’ve already mentioned it but mysensors looks promising

Fair point. So the ardunio would do the controlling but will have to somehow create a login via WiFi for the home assistant to control the ardunio

Yeah I have some programming experience from uni years ago but haven’t done anything since Just figured I’d start breaking down the list into sections where the sensors will be close by and I got Air environment ardunio Co2 sensor Co2 burner relay Humidity sensor Dehumidifier relay Humidifier...

Yeah after a quick search after you first mentioned it earlier today I decided home assistant was best option. The arduino would just be the sensor right? Providing the data to the pi and the pi does the computation for eg co2 < 1200 turn on burner

    The klx Way!

Yeah I’ve been reading a lot about it. I think the issue I will have is sensors are analogue and id have some sensors 10m away from pi, 9m away 5m away etc and they don’t work over that distance from what I’ve read I may have to look into if it’s possible to use cheaper ardunios which alll...

Well a days research and I’ve got the following list of things I want my raspberry pi to control. It’s a lot... not sure wether I can get a single raspberry pi to do all this or if I need multiple yet Co2 sensor Co2 burner relay Humidity sensor Air Temp sensor Flower res Fill Water pump relay...

Looks similar to programming I ive done before from quick searching. Simple to create multi threads. Gonna start looking into what hardware I need and start building this in spare time

What size res do you usually use for a 4x 4?

Xlx does raspberry pi allow concurrent programming? So if I wanted the controller to monitor and log measurements and at the same time run a loop for flooding and draining at the same time and also monitoring co2 and turning the co2 Burner off and on all concurrently ?

I wasn’t sure it was possible to find co2 sensors etc for ardunios/ raspberry pie. But if you can it’s definitely something I’ll be doing Edit just had a quick google looks like the senseair s8 is decent? Co2 sensor I may start messing about with this soon

Does a single raspberry pi run absolutely everything? Havnt looked into raspberry pi yet only arduino. Wonder if it’s better. I know when I was looking into ardunio an issue I was constantly running into is not enough output ports and needing to use extenders

Oh they’d be supported by a neoprene ring within a piece of polycarbonate roofing stuck to an inch of XPS foam to keep my res cool

    The klx Way!

Just searched those misters up. Hadn’t heard of them. I don’t really like the idea of multiple air line hoses all over the place. I like the idea of having a large barrel filled with water and a mister in that. Sealed lid. A fan on a timer that blows the mist into the cloner. You could have one...

You talking about using one for your lights so high wattage? Maybe not a large factor for 150w water pumps I may build an ardunio controller just for my lights though. Probably more reliable than my timers I have atm

:mrgreen::mrgreen: spreader mats only coat the bottom of the flood table though? What goods that do when the water spreads on it’s own anyway?

Don’t want to have to deal with disposing of anything. It’s a bloody nightmare disposing of the stems as it is. im building a large electric foundry as we speak to deal with this. Burning bins give off too much smell so I’ve designed a foundry that gets to 1000c and has a sealed lid so no smoke...
