    Megacrop

If it says hydroponic though that would mean it’s made for retail sales right? Hence such a rip off

    Megacrop

I noticed the new mega 2 part doesn’t include chitosan, b vits or kelp though. I wonder why they removed these goodies

If I search for normal agriculture stuff though, I need to ensure they are water soluble and most don’t clarify if they are

I get confused on how they calc the ratios though. Is 5% nitrogen still a lot?

    Megacrop

For that masterblend 4-18-38 do they work out ratios differently or something? How does it compare to megacrop that’s 10-7.6-18 does it mean that megacrop has 2.5x more nitrogen and masterblend has 2 x potassium or they working it out differently?

    Megacrop

Heard from them that they may only be selling small bags in Europe so will not be able to buy for big grows.

    Megacrop

Yeah gln doesn’t seem to supply the two part in Europe. Would have been perfect if they did. jacks 321 isn’t available here either... from what I can find. even GH 3 part is impossible to find in bigger than 10l bottles which will cost me a fortune

    Megacrop

Does anyone find that megacrop has too much N for flower? I’m using veg+bloom atm and plants always look perfect during veg and then when buds start forming everything goes to shit. Dark green leaves and from there I get loads of different looking deficiencies possibly calcium def. and burnt...

    Mag/calcium deficiency?

Can’t believe something like this causes it though. I would have expected to see drooping leaves from lack of oxygen I’ve had 6 grows and every time thought my system just needed less nutrients or the nutes I was using were shit. now I’m at 650ppm comfortably little tiny bit of tip burn but...

    Mag/calcium deficiency?

Just thought I’d update this thread... Turns out a massive factor was fucking my plants up and I didn’t even realise. I have a hybrid nft:aero system i designed myself. the sprinklers were always on soaking the roots. It was working fine but I was getting deficiencies and I could never...

Backcombing buds to increase air flow and reduce rot

In the end my ac units are still cooling 10,000w of electricity but I guess the room temp is just more evenly distributed and the room has a larger capacity for energy storage in the air it gives you ac units a buffer

Backcombing buds to increase air flow and reduce rot

I’m not sure it reduces the cost of cooling. I’m not really sure on the science of how it works. I just know from experience with low humidity my room has a temp spike above the canopy and ac units clock on constantly and when humidity is high the temperature above canopy and all corners of the...

Backcombing buds to increase air flow and reduce rot

    It’s not a limitation I have 100l/day dehumidifiers i deliberately set them at 70

Backcombing buds to increase air flow and reduce rot

clearly a better VPD has many benefits such as faster growth rate, higher brix, more efficient use of water and I’d probably even say higher yield. I had a 1000l resevoir before I sealed my room and in peak flower I was having to refill it every 5days and it was a pita. since I sealed my room...

Backcombing buds to increase air flow and reduce rot

I flower in humidity of 70% now and just use a commercial essential oil diffuser and use a blend of anti fungal and anti microbial oils in the sealed room and never had rot again
