    Loopy Loop Seedling

It may have been that the seed was facing wrong way and root started growing upwards. No issue you can plant up to cotyledons when planting up

    Diy flood trays

I’ve seen videos on that where they use tape on the seams. Im sceptical of using tape? you recommend I use multiple pieces one for the bottom and one for the sides and seal them together? how would you recommend best way to seal it? Tape sounds like it may be doomed to fail

    Diy flood trays

Anyone have any input into diy flood trays? I am wanting to build flood trays 14ft long 4ft wide. Was planning on have osb for the base and 2 x 6s for the sides. I’ve bought some fiberglass kits thats sold for ponds. I was planning on using this but then I read that fiberglassing is hard and...

For a custom flood and drain tray do you think I should use liquid rubber or fiberglass? Bought fiberglass that I’m using for my pond and was gonna use extra for the tray but reading more on it now I’m wondering if it’s actually simple enough to install without leaks

I’m redesigning my room. It’s a low ceiling tight space. Trying to optimise the space I use best I can. I can potentially use a fogger instead of mist heads that may make things easier to manage I’ll look into this

those clones are in plugs or something though. Roots will spiral. I think an aeroponic resevoir/mist heads would need a bit more height so limits the stacks of clones

Think you have confusion who said what. I said they stay dry I guess I meant to say they don’t get soaked from the flood but they obviously will contain water as water has to move up the roots to get to the stalk. I was planning on cloning in rapid rooters but that won’t give me long roots for...

What if I’m not using a medium like you are in your original post. There will be no wicking action. I’m thinking 5 or 6 inch deep tray? Flood to 3-4 inch?

cheers mate I won’t be using a riser. I will be running it like a Iws system with a tall water tank away from the grow and not under the flood tray. I guess my question would be relevant for any type of flood and drain. As I’ve never done flood and drain Im trying to figure out how deep I...
